 While ordinary people have to reckon with rising prices every penny, a small

group happily earns billions.  ---- Everything is very expensive. It is not a
complete novelty, but the word "dear" is inflected more often than ever. No
wonder: food, energy or fuel prices look like a bad joke. Especially where the
unresolved housing crisis has reached for years and rents are as high as Everest,
it seems as if one should steal in the Czech Republic to make a living. After
all, some are already stealing - only in the Holt thief do politicians and other
"elites" lead, who were never threatened by the shortage. ---- Inflation has
slipped and economists are spewing scary forecasts. Who is to blame? Of course,
the self-proclaimed Russian Emperor Putin, the murderer in Ukraine at the time,
has a great deal of responsibility - probably everyone will agree on that. But on
the domestic scene, we again see performances where the current government throws
responsibility on the past and vice versa.

Now the bosses in the blocks promise to implement a set of measures, help people
and "don't let them fall", but there is a sense of waiting in the air for the
moment when we start talking about tightening our belts or how we allegedly lived
beyond our means. Just remember the former government of the cuts of Petr Necas.

Naturally, the madness of the market will always have the greatest impact on
those who already have the least - ordinary workers, seniors, single women,
students, the unemployed. At the same time, they are the last to pay for any
crisis. Because while we all lose weight, billions are juggled elsewhere.

For example, the PPF investment group of the Kellner family reported a net profit
of almost six billion crowns last year's pandemic year. And EPH of barbarian
Daniel Kretínský tore even 56 billion. What nonsensical amounts for anyone who
has no contacts in politics and does not spin piles of money in shares, so he
counts every month if he manages to pay a half more expensive deposit for gas!

However, we have seen this in previous economic crises. The vast majority of
society will be stifled by costliness and social insecurity, but the greatest
care usually comes from the political system to the narrow group that has the
most - and also cries the loudest of luxury villas when the accounting crisis
takes a few percent off. During the covid, many companies even made record money,
while others counted crumbs and were forced to risk illness at work in the midst
of a raging epidemic because they simply had to pay rent and food.

Such logic is inherent in the system in which we live. It is not even his failure
- it is based on injustice, when the poor pay during the crisis, but the profits
rake the richest. In the same way, the recurrence of crises is already encoded in
its skeleton, which economists always interpret as a mysterious catastrophe, but
in reality they know that another problem is only a matter of time. No change of
government or other politicians promising much will change that. Especially not
the kind of Okamura who pretends to be against everyone to pack even more.

We need a completely different system. One in which our lives will not be
governed by unbridled financial flows, where we will be able to live freely and
with dignity without having to tease every hundred and kill years of life in
meaningless work earning someone else.

As anarchists, we believe that such a difficult but necessary change will not
come by itself, but needs to be pursued: together, from below, without
politicians, bosses and self-appointed leaders. We need to think about how to
build society on mutual assistance and the just fulfillment of real needs, from
housing to caring for the infirm, so that everyone can decide on its operation
and no one is doomed to poverty.

After all, the current crisis is just a sign of the future. Due to the inaction
of politicians and, on the contrary, the great swarming of the fossil industry,
we are at the beginning of a much bigger, climatic trouble. The recent heat waves
have been just a small taste of what, according to all credible scientists, can
shape our future and what is already rolling the poorer parts of the world with
drought, storms, hunger.

Over the next few decades, all the worries of today's economists may be
ridiculous when the world faces unprecedented extremes and a shortage of
everything, accompanied by tremendous migration. The need for a fairer, more
sustainable world ruled by billionaires and their henchmen is not just a dream,
but a necessity. Not only for us, gripped by the current blatant dear, but also
for our children and the children of our children.
