No revolution without images, without a project, without a projection, nor
without sharing these images, which lift us up and make us move from dream toaction. But beware that the image, which nevertheless is formed in the mostconcrete way in the world in a body, in our bodies in connection with the realworld, beware that the image does not supplant the project and transform it intoa nightmare. ---- We will easily observe two ways of understanding the notion of"imaginary", and its corollary the "imagination" The first which relegates thetwo terms to the landscape of childhood, and in the field of impossible, of theunreal, of the immature, figures of the dream... And then a second, for whom theimagination is an entire faculty of the intellect, a power to think and tomobilize oneself and others, and a first step towards Utopia, this place which is"nowhere", and which awaits its actualization to become a barricade, an assembly,a city, a concrete territory. No revolution without images, without a project, without a projection, norwithout sharing these images, which lift us up and make us move from dream toaction. But beware that the image, which nevertheless is formed in the mostconcrete way in the world in a body, in our bodies in connection with the realworld, beware that the image does not supplant the project and transform it intoa nightmare.Deadly propaganda, empty publicity, pollution of our sensibility... it is perhapsbecause we have exhausted our emotions and thought so much that the capitalist ortotalitarian imaginations have managed to lead the world to the real dystopiafrom which they make their literature. Resisting and building another world isfirst of all imagining it - what relationships between us humans and others thanhumans, what city, what nature, what forms... ?This special feature of Alternative Libertaire attempts to summon the whole ofhuman activity - culture, politics, ecology, sexualities - to explore avenues ofemancipation and ward off alienation. We will tackle in this pell-mell dossier the question of nature and theenvironment in connection with the class struggle. We will talk aboutnon-productivist agriculture and land collectivism, but also about utopias forchildren. We will navigate through time, from Year 01 to the Water Age to then imagine an "ecological revolution " of utopias and reverse the process of metropolisation. We will come across a few reactionary puppies who have the fangs towards aninclusive SF that is open to representing the diversity of identities that makeup Humanity... and the cyborgs, who we will wonder if they are all right-wingers!And then interviews : a libertarian architect, a draftsman who draws his ownanswers and an author whose heroines come out of the nails... and sometimes evendecorate their biker jackets with them before going to tease zombies. In short, with no other exclusivities than our subjective tastes and the desire to explorelivable and emancipatory possibilities, let's give way to these libertarianimaginations. Thanks to Vito for the design of the cover of this issue and to Mathieu Bertrandfor the drawing above, at the start of this file.A dossier coordinated by Cuervo (UCL Aix), David (UCL Chambéry), Ernest London(UCL Le Puy) and Mélanie (UCL Grand-Paris sud)In summary* Editorial: the art of thinking of possible emancipators* Utopias: from "no place" to "good place"* Éditions La Volte: When the imaginary questions the political* The small world of Alessandro Pignocchi* SF jostled by diversities: the Hugo prize at bay* Are cyborgs right wing?* Gardens in freedom* Youth literature: utopia told to children* Comics: from Year 01 to today: utopia at your fingertips* A drawn interview with Vito* Jean-Marc Huygen (architect): "Changing architecture to move from utopia toreality"* Lizzie Crowdagger (novelist): "A story set in an alternative universe does notnecessarily free social norms"https://unioncommunistelibertaire.org/?Imaginaires-libertaires-l-art-de-penser-des-possibles-emancipateurs_________________________________________A - I N F O S N E W S S E R V I C EBy, For, and About AnarchistsSend news reports to A-infos-en mailing listA-infos-en@ainfos.caSPREAD THE INFORMATION
