   The state-capitalist world of power is in decay, the multiple crises of the

system lead interstate rivalries to armed conflicts and the social base to a
state of exception and further impoverishment. The global capitalist crisis,
after its last outbreak in '08, does not seem to have found balance, already in
2019 international organizations warned of a new crisis in 2020. The covid
pandemic that hit the planet made the financial crisis even more intense while it
highlighted several more fields of competition, sharpening the contrasts and
leading to even harsher conditions of modern totalitarianism. Public debt,
surpluses and unemployment are skyrocketing, making the living conditions of the
social base even more difficult. The deplorable conditions and the lack of means
of protection in the workplaces created fertile ground for the rapid spread of
the pandemic. The health crisis made evident the enormous contradictions of the
system as well as the complete devaluation of the value of life at the altar of
profit, leading to more than 30,000 deaths in the Greek area alone.
  At the same time, the destructive effects of the plundering of the natural
world emerge more and more strongly. It is the colonialism of capital with the
cementing and commercialization of the natural environment that leads to a
climate crisis. Heatwaves, devastating fires - which alone in our geography in
2021 cost 1,301,239 acres -, dozens of devastating floods and cold, have claimed
lives and caused innumerable material damages.
  In the last two years, another crisis is underway, the so-called energy crisis.
The reflections and analyzes on the issues of the adequacy of the available
energy resources, as well as the skyrocketing of the prices of energy products to
unimaginable heights, are perceived by everyone. The effects of the energy crisis
on people's lives have become even clearer through the war in Ukraine, with the
skyrocketing prices of petrol, electricity, oil and natural gas, yet another
crisis whose cost is paid by the social base . Sovereignty on the other hand
accelerates Renewable Energy (RES) programs that only serve the interests of the
bosses ensuring super profits for contractors and providers, without providing
energy self-sufficiency.
  At the same time, the system is becoming more and more fortified. In every
crisis the response is repression, fortification, war, cannibalism and
impoverishment. The brutality in everyday (and international) relations is one of
the most basic aspects of the generalized crisis. The occupation of every public
space by police forces, the strengthening of repression against the internal
enemy (social base) and the strategy of preventive counter-insurgency, the
thousands of persecutions, imprisonments and repatriations of the oppressed and
immigrants, impoverishment, unemployment and the precarity leading to social
cannibalism, the increase in military armaments, "death" bases, and the
generalization of conflict and war, are just a few examples of the violence
produced by the world of power.

Block in the education of war and repression
  In such a condition, education could not be left out of the equation. After
all, education reflects the social environment within which it develops and
shapes the perceptions of every aspect of social life. That is why educational
restructuring is a strategic goal for the administrators of power. Thus, together
with the change of the post-political paradigm and the abolition of asylum, the
intensification of study hours, the curtailment of demonstrations and the
criminalization of trade unionism, an increasingly commercialized education
system is outlined. As we will see below, the relationship between nationalism
and military equipment with the educational process is strong.

The school teaches nationalism and discipline
  Schools today are to the child what the prison is to the convict and the
barracks to the soldier-a place where everything is used to bend the child's
will, and then crush it, reshape it, and mold it into a creature foreign to
itself, notes E. Goldman some years back.
  Reforms in education today aim at adapting education to the needs of the market
as well as forming obedient subjects fully disciplined to the dictates of power.
The students act as future cheap labor, and the teachers are forced to evaluate
and rub off on each other. Competition, intensification and individualization are
the basic yeast of schools.
  The constant exams, the increase in the material, the subject bank, let alone
the Minimum Entry Basis, reinforce the anxiety and class barriers shaping the
education of the few. In recent years, the restructurings have also included
ideological narratives that directly promote regressive perceptions and destroy
creativity. The return of conduct to degrees and the abolition of humanities
courses shape the ideological narrative of excellence and cannibalism.
A basic aspect of social cannibalism is also patriarchy as it is reproduced in
schools, both by the hierarchical way of teaching and by the students and
teachers themselves. Characteristic were the incidents of rape by a student in
Evosmos and infringing behavior by a teacher towards female students in a high
school in the center.
  Social cannibalism has found its main expression in schools in emerging
fascism. In 2019, a young student is attacked by fascists in Naples, a few years
after the state attempts to repatriate minor immigrant students. At the same
time, fascist groups, finding inspiration from the occupations for Macedonian and
conspiracy during the years of the pandemic, attack students who were handing out
leaflets outside school and students inside schools by doing fascist occupations.

The example of universities, police and military research.
  The events of the last few months in the universities prove that the freedoms
of asylum are for the sovereignty a distortion of the capitalist sovereignty. The
state-capitalist university is trying to deepen its dominance both at the
repressive and at the business level. Educational restructuring creates
increasingly suffocating frameworks for the poorest strata of the social base,
with increasing exclusion, intensification and class barriers, and at the same
time attacks those who resist it.
  The research carried out in universities, directly linked to the needs of the
market and fully integrated into state-capitalist interests, is an important tool
in the hands of the rulers for the further development of repressive and military
mechanisms. Research programs are linked to the needs of the military and police
and this link is a major part of the research function and production of the
universities.
  The examples are enough. From the NTU ANDROMEDA and PREVISION research group
programs to the INGENIUS and SIRIUS programs. Also, we cannot fail to refer more
specifically to the memorandum of cooperation with a duration of 2.5 years and
costs of approximately 1.5 million euros between the Hellenic Aviation Industry
(EAB), the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (APTH), the Democritus University
of Thrace (DPTH) and the University of Thessaly ( ??) for the purpose of
research, design and then the industrial production of a military drone, with the

We do not declare military and police schools!
  The surpluses created in the economy by the covid pandemic are leading to a new
economic crisis, the burden of which will be called upon to be borne by the
social base. Unemployment rates are already increasing and uninsured and
precarious work are almost the norm in wage labor. Capital has put forward a
series of restructurings in various social fields to ensure the continuity of its
dominance. In the area of work, the anti-labor law of '21 fully serves the
interests of the bosses, who fortify themselves against the workers by
criminalizing collective action and the institutional abolition of the 8-hour
shift. Correspondingly, in the part of education, the capitalist restructuring
shapes the education of the few and disciplined.
  On the one hand, the Minimum Entry Basis, the intensification of the pace of
studies, the attendance limit, the mergers and abolition of departments and on
the other the disciplinary measures, deletions and the police for those who
react, form the basis for an education system in the measures of the few. At the
same time, educational institutions operate competitively in terms of a company
in the context of evaluation and must find ways of financing outside the public
sector, adapted to the needs of the market. Much more starkly, we see
professional rights being stripped away from degrees and the emphasis placed on
private schools and 3-year degree programs. The minimal job prospects that the
educational process can provide in Greece are turned into apprenticeships and

  In the face of increasing precarity, the state fortifies itself through
increasing repression. More immediately, we see recruitment in security forces

the policemen doctors who control movements, the weaknesses of the Raffale
National Security Service and rockets, it baptized the immigrants a "hybrid
threat" by constantly pushing back, building more and more heavily guarded
concentration camps. The university, as we have seen above, also works for the
war industry with programs directly linked to the military in border surveillance
and war operations. The Greek state takes a more active part in imperialist
rivalries,
  At a time when public space and goods are being privatized and precision is
driving up the cost of living, the war industry is plotting the subjugation and
slaughter of populations to expand its profits. It is now clear that the
competitions for EEZ and borders mean nothing more than the profitability of the
multinationals. It is now clear how the imagined community of nation and homeland
cannot be constituted outside of capitalist interests and therefore we have
nothing to gain from participating in their wars. As long as states and bosses
promise death as the only prospect, we will demand that we take our lives into
our own hands in peace and solidarity.

We will not become cannon fodder
  For all these reasons and for all the reasons in the world, we are not going to
take sides with the rulers, declaring police and military schools, suppressing
the social needs and struggles of the oppressed, and organizing modern
totalitarianism. We are not going to wear a coat of arms for the dead end
bloodshed of peoples, we are not going to contribute to a life full of fences,
control and enclosures inside and outside the borders. We are not going to
participate in the war and repressive mechanisms that will turn against the poor
and downtrodden and serve the geopolitical and economic interests of imperialist
oligarchs of all kinds.
  We as anarchist internationalists maintain the unchanged anti-war position, we
oppose those who sow death among the peoples. To the repressive and warlike
fortifications of the state, we respond with class and international solidarity
and with self-organized struggles for the life we deserve. Life in a world of
