The General Confederation of Labor (CGT), through a statement issued on the
occasion of the International LGTBIQ+ Pride Day, once again highlights themobilizations in defense of the rights of LGTBIQ+ people that will take placeover the next few days in many cities and territories of the Spanish State. ----In this sense, the CGT has recalled that the true meaning of these should not beforgotten, precisely because it is one of the longest-running social demands forfreedom in history. For this reason, the anarcho-syndicalist organization callson all members, and society in general, to participate in actions and events, bearing in mind that they must serve to denounce the situation that many LGTBIQ+people continue to suffer in the Spanish State and in many other parts of theplanet. CGT recalls that attacks on this group have grown in recent years, thanksto the hatred generated and promoted by the extreme right and reactionary sectorsof society, which seek to single out and stigmatize LGTBIQ+ people. The anarcho-syndicalists state that this stigmatization against the LGTBIQ+collective is an attack on the entire society, and of course on the working classfor all the attacks they suffer in the workplace. That is why from thisorganization we want to keep the flame of the fight for rights and freedoms inall areas and spaces of life.More information: Carmen Arnaiz (Sª Acción Social CGT) 722 853 927.Macarena Amores GarciaPress office of the Confederal Committee of the CGT_________________________________________A - I N F O S N E W S S E R V I C EBy, For, and About AnarchistsSend news reports to A-infos-en mailing listA-infos-en@ainfos.caSPREAD THE INFORMATION
