Olá, –
I'm Ana and I work with All Out in Brazil.
LGBT+ people here in Brazil, especially children and teenagers, are very vulnerable to efforts to "correct" their sexual orientation, gender identity and expression – also known as "conversion therapies" or "gay cures".
Different international research, articles, and studies – including one done by All Out, which you can find here – indicate that these "correction" efforts can amount to a type of torture.
That's why we're pushing to include specific protections for LGBT+ people in the Brazilian anti-torture law.
Sign the petition and help protect LGBT+ Brazilians – like me – from "gay cures".
| OK, I'LL SIGN! |
Um abraço,Ana, with All Out in Brazil(she/ela/ella)
