Where does the money that we pay moreend up, but that doesn't get back to us? ---- Last year, German corporations seta new record: the distribution of dividends to their shareholders was higher thanever. Depending on the forecast, another 50% more is assumed for 2022. DespiteCorona and the war, the corporations are doing splendidly. thanks to us ---- Toensure that the juicy profits remain the same, Dr. Oetker has already announcedfurther price increases. And is not alone in that. The federal government is nowchanging laws so that energy companies outsource their additional spending to us.Of course, the additional income remains with the corporations.So are our monthly costs increasing out of solidarity with the people of Ukraine?Certainly not. We have to pay to keep the bubbly flowing at shareholder meetings.Hopes for a 100 billion special budget for UNS have already been answered by thecurrent government. Economics Minister Robert Habeck says: "You won't get them,old man!". So while MEPs treat themselves to an increase in diets, we are gettingclassic diets. No one asked us if we even wanted to make corporate profits andrecord dividends, but the decision to tighten our belts has already been made.We don't feel like dieting or given shower times! We don't want to freeze inwinter and still pay more for it! We want to be able to afford life for everyoneand not a few their abundance!Our solidarity is not with the shareholders, but with everyone who is sufferingfrom the rising prices.
