We have to admit, however, that the prime minister was right about the rise of
fascists and social democracy (of "populism" according to him) through the
squares of the indignant. Except that his own government tenure is also due to
this rise, since these forces shielded (each in a different way) the system he
himself serves, at a time when it was - and still is - favorable for the
development of a revolutionary movement of overthrow. If these forces were not
strengthened, but a revolutionary movement was born through the social and class
struggles of the time, Mitsotakis and his colleagues would either be in exile (of
which Koulis is a deep connoisseur) or on the gallows. They would surely have
found themselves where a revolutionary movement with organized anarchism in its
vanguard would have thrown the bastards who found themselves in power over the
years: into the dustbin of history.
