 On the three days of July 8, 9 and 10, 2022, the 4th Freedom Festival of Social,

Class & International Solidarity of the Anarchist Political Organization -
Federation of Collectives took place in Athens, at the 1st FEPA (Zografou
Campus). The goal of the festival was "to create a public and open political and
cultural space for meeting, communication and fermentation between the social and
class struggles that develop from below and the intervention of anarchist and
libertarian agendas within them". (from the political call) ---- During the
festival a number of political and cultural events took place, as well as in the
festival area there was an abundance of printed political material, books of
cinema editions, posters as well as an exhibition of photography and sketches.

The first event of the festival was about "Educational Restructuring as an
irreplaceable part of the promotion of modern totalitarianism" with the
participation of teachers, the Athens Anarchist Student Initiative, the Anarchist
Student Assembly "Quieta Movere" and a member of SERETE, reflecting the attack of
state and capital on education but also the struggles that have been developed
recently by both students in Athens and Thessaloniki and by teachers.

The first day was followed by the event "Against State and Capitalist Barbarism.
Social Self-Organization - Class Solidarity", which highlighted various aspects
of the restructuring of recent years but also the social and class resistances
that have developed against the ever-increasing aggression of state and capital.
This event was attended by a worker from the Kavala Oil factory and a member of
the Autonomous Steki of Kavala where they were positioned for the struggle and
developments of the oil workers of Kavala but also for the fertilizer factory
located in the area, the self-managed Pasamontana social space and the Group
Inaction referred to the criminal state management of the pandemic, the
irrationality and denial of the pandemic but also for the struggles against the
further degradation of the public health system. The Athens Anarchist Students'
Initiative and the "Quieta Movere" Anarchist Students' Assembly that were placed
for the suppression of the student struggles and for the attack on the asylum and
its social character as well as the Anarchist Assembly for Social and Class
Emancipation and the Local Coordination APO-OS Thessaloniki for the accuracy and
looting of the social base.


The first day of the festival ended with a Hip-Hop live financial support with:
Penthimos, Rammeno Asso, Antignomo, Kato apotos to geiso and Dtaeys while during
the concert texts of solidarity with the anarchist hunger strike from 23/05

The second day of the festival, Saturday July 9, started with the book
presentation "Preemptive Counter-Revolution, thoughts on fascism" by Luigi Fabbri
from the libertarian publications Nautilos with the participation of a comrade
from the Italian Anarchist Federation (FAIt) and the translator, while it was
followed by the book presentation of the book "Living my life" by Emma Goldman
from Bibliopelagos publications, with the participation of the translator Rosina
Berkner.

Then the event of the Group Against the Patriarchy / APO-OS was held with the
theme "Anarchy against the Patriarchy: From the arsonists of the Commune and the
Mujeres Libres to the modern struggles against gender-based violence (feminicide,
rape, trafficking)... From the point of view of the overall struggle for social
liberation, against social cannibalism and institutional delusions".

The second day ended with the premiere of the theater performance "Truth is dead"
by Octav Mirbo from Tsirichantsoules.

The third and final day of the festival, Sunday July 10, started with the event
on "Struggles to defend public spaces against redevelopment, commercialization,
control and repression. From Cyprus Park and Filopappou Hill to Exarchia" with
the participation of fellow fighters/women from the Resistance and Solidarity
Assembly of Kypseli/Patisia, the Self-Managing Park of Navarinou, the
Anarchist/Anti-authoritarian Shelter Antipnoia and the Occupy of Lela Karagianni
37, while at the same time in the space of the festival there was free play and
experiments for children and adults as well as storytelling.

The last day of the festival continued with the event: Organization -
Internationalism - Social Revolution. Against war, imperialism and nationalism.

After the end of the political events of the third day, a stand up comedy took
place with: Konstantinos Capitano, Alex Kensin Apostolopoulos, Melina Kollia,
Irini Xygakis, Stamatis Athanasakis and Konstantinos Bitsi, as well as a rebetiko
feast with which the festival program was completed.

At this point, we would like to thank the artists who performed in hip hop live,
in the theatre, in stand up comedy and in rebetiko, those comrades and fellow
competitors who participated in the political events and book presentations and
also those who helped with the contribution them in the realization of the 4th
Freedom Festival of Social, Class and International Solidarity.

We consider that the realization of the festival for another year in a condition
of intensifying repression, exploitation, oppression and impoverishment, in a
condition of intensifying the attack of state and capital on every social field
and front, in a condition of targeting the anarchist movement and fighters/
through the ongoing and ongoing repressive campaign of the state, with the war
raging and in the midst of a pandemic, it was an opportunity for us to be able to
share our thoughts on a number of issues, to exchange concerns and opinions as
well as experiences through struggles that have developed in the social field.
Finally, the realization of this year's festival confirmed once again the
necessity of existence and the importance of an anarchist festival, especially in
a period where the central repressive policy of the state, the doctrine of
preventive counterinsurgency, is being upgraded.

The only real dilemma of our time is:
