Inaddition, they indicate from CGT that real wages have been devalued, up to 10%.This has had an impact on the agreements signed during 2022 (2,300 that willcover almost 6,200,000 people), because a general wage loss of 6.1% has beeninstitutionalized.CGT has explained that this situation is going to have a brutal impact on themost vulnerable households, and in general on the lives of people with the lowestincomes, causing more inequality and precariousness.In relation to precariousness and given the data from the EPA, CGT has stressedthat the key to reversing this situation continues to be in the social and laborstruggle, strengthening the labor rights of the working class that allows them tohave a shield against a new economic crisis. However, and according to the EPA,despite having reduced the number of unemployed people, the jobs created continueto be temporary and partial. These types of contracts, which foster jobuncertainty for thousands of human beings, continue to prevent many people in oursociety from a decent life project.CGT also recalls that 6.6 million overtime hours are still performed per week,and almost half of these are unpaid, which shows that exploitation limits peopleto choosing other jobs. From CGT they consider that the flexibility and intensification of workloadsworsen the working conditions of the working class, an example of this being theincrease in the number of deaths of people while earning a living.
