campsites in solidarity with the comrade and union delegate of the CNT AIT inFigueres, fired at the «Yelloh! Village» of Colera, Girona, owned by the mayorand local chief of this town. ---- The companions were camping in the confederalcoexistence that they organize annually when they decided to carry out thissolidarity action in front of one of the «Yelloh! CNT-AIT campsite: banner workshop and visitto the Yelloh Village campsite in the area.Since Sunday, the CNT-AIT camp is held every year in the first week of August.It is an opportunity to get together in a friendly atmosphere to get to knowcolleagues and live together a bit of our creative utopia: reflections, leisure,cultural outings, sports activities... as we see fit, in self-management.Companions of the CNT-AIT in Figueres, Spain, had informed us of the conflictbetween them and the despotic patron of the Yelloh village of Colera camping(read here: http://cnt-ait.info/2022/07/29/camping -anger/)During one of the GA of the camp, some companions proposed to carry out asymbolic action of solidarity, since there is a camp of the same chain not farfrom where we are.This morning a meeting was given to those interested to make a banner and anaction. A "reinforced banner and spray painting" workshop resulted in a beautifulbanner reading "Yelloh village Coléra = exploiters". We photocopied somebrochures in French and also in Dutch (since we learned on the internet that manyof the campers came from the "flat countries"). By the way, many thanks to ourfriends from the CNT-AIT on the other side of the border, in Belgium, who havetranslated the brochure for us! This is internationalism in action! Clients had informed him that there was trouble at the campsite and that ademonstration was being organized. We inform you that our action today wasactually directed at the Colera campsite, which was part of the same chain asyour campsite. He replied that his campsite was not involved in the case, whichis true, but we pointed out that the behavior of the owner of the Colera campsite-in addition to exploiting and mistreating his employees- was damaging the imageof all Yelloh village with his behavior authoritarian. We invite you to transmitthe information to the franchise headquarters.These types of small actions do not require large resources and are available toeveryone.
