This Saturday afternoon, about thirty people took part in the exhibition and
launch of the Anarchist Children's Dictionary at the social/cultural space of13/2, in Quebec City. The place, operating in a self-managed way for almost halfa year in the middle of Limoilou, was a great discovery for us. We first held asmall workshop with the people present. In small teams of about 5 people (mixedchildren and adults), the participants had to choose from a list of conceptswhich (only 5 out of the 24 presented) they would like to keep and which theywould give up, explaining why. . The activity led to several interestingreflections, some of which were shared during the return to the large groupfollowing the work in small teams. In each of the teams, the adults present andpresent supported the participation of the children through philosophicalquestioning. All the meaning of the little book we produced was found in such ascene, as curious as it may seem: getting children to reflect and develop theircritical thinking. We loved the very diverse discussions that followed theworkshop and got to know the new world of militant and alternative circles inQuebec and its surroundings.
