Does the Russian-speaking population of the east and south of Ukraine have the
right to their identity, linguistic and cultural self-determination? Oh sure. In
Ukraine, they quite successfully defended the right to the Russian language -
before the annexation of Crimea by Russia and the emergence of the LDNR. Now the
south and east of Ukraine, as a result of hostilities, are turning into a
concrete post-apocalyptic desert.

We believe that state borders are a bloody atavism. In Donetsk, people have the
right to speak both Russian and Ukrainian, in Bishkek - both Kyrgyz and Russian,
as well as in Moscow - both Russian and Kyrgyz. But it is obvious that the
peaceful coexistence of peoples in the post-Soviet space will be possible only
after the collapse of the Putin regime.

Submissive comfort zone
The shock of the first days after the announcement of mobilization passes. People
start to resist. The Vladivostok story is indicative, when the military
commissars came to one of the apartment buildings and turned on the fire alarm in
order to smoke out the men. But people wrote off in the house chat - that there
was no fire - and no one opened the door to the messengers of death.

In Ust-Ilimsk, Irkutsk region, a military commissar was shot right during the
training camp. Military registration and enlistment offices began to burn more
than ever. The wives and mothers of conscripts have joined the anti-war movement,
they are organizing protests. Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Yakutia, Tuva are on
the verge of unrest. Ramzan Akhmatych in Chechnya canceled the burial altogether
- understanding the mood among the Chechens.

Hundreds of thousands of people are fleeing the country, many times more - they
have moved out of their places of registration. In Ryazan, a man set himself on
fire at a railway station in protest against mobilization: a striking gesture,
but, of course, not the most reasonable one. People break their legs and are even
ready to become infected with HIV, just not to be in the gears of the death machine.

But still, many opponents of the war with Ukraine fall under mobilization. Guys
(and women liable for military service), read, damn it, at least Telegram! There
are already 100,500 instructions stating that if you do not sign the summons,
this is only an administrative charge of up to 3,000 rubles and a maximum of a
criminal offense with a term of up to two years. And if you have already been
tombed, then yes - for desertion or surrender, you are entitled to up to ten years.

As for me, it is better to serve at least 45 years than to become an accomplice
in a clear war crime, with the prospect of dying for goals that you do not share.
But people are afraid to leave the zone of legalist comfort, to live underground,
to disobey the cops.

Guys! This time they didn't steal the oil or rig the election, they came to take
your lives. It's not the 18th century in the yard, when peasants were shaved into
soldiers for twenty years, and each family was shaking so that not their son was
taken away, but grief came to the neighbors.

Guys resist! Kill the state in yourself, as the great Letov bequeathed.

minority. And soon they will not be left at all: honest supporters of the war

The head of Russia Today, Margarita Simonyan - one of those whose speeches Putin
believed and unleashed the war - organized a massive check on the legality of the
decisions of the military commissars. Like who was taken to the war correctly,
who was not.
