STATE AND CAPITAL SOW WAR, DEATH, POVERTY AND TERRORISM ---- In the last 2 years
where the covid-19 pandemic and its criminal management have left millions deadaround the world and tens of thousands in Greece, the local political andeconomic bosses promote even more intensively the plundering of the great socialmajority and the brutal repression of social and class resistances as a whole. From the drownings, pushbacks and killings of refugees and migrants at water andland borders, the outbreak of war and continuous war preparations, the sharpeningof intra-imperialist rivalries, the deepening of poverty and impoverishment tothe fierce repression unleashed by the state in the face of students, activists,workers and prisoners, the state murders, the laundering of pedophile and mobsterrings, the business of appropriating public spaces and the destruction of thenatural world, the deep rot of the state-capitalist system emerges, which triesby all means to preserve its supremacy and perpetuate its existence.The state, faithful to the neoliberal model followed since the years of thememorandum in the Greek area, continues to increase the cost of living at evenmore intensive rates, while uninsured and precarious work, flexible hours, workintensification, privatizations and management from the bosses of all our basicneeds are points that respond to capitalism's need to exacerbate class inequalityand completely devalue our lives. Having left behind a broken/abandoned publichealth system and thousands of dead as a tragic consequence of the murderousstate management of the pandemic, it attacks those from below by increasing thecost of living. Basic goods such as bread and oil have recorded a frighteningincrease while fuel is currently at its highest cost ever, making survivalconditions very difficult. At the same time, skyrocketing rents have left much ofthe lower classes unable to meet basic needs such as housing, while condemningothers to homelessness due to eviction.Moreover, the dozens of dead workers in the wage-slavery factories are only thetip of the iceberg of savage class exploitation. The intensification of work,precariousness, wage reductions, flexibility of working hours at the expense ofworkers and the growth of unemployment highlight the harsh working reality. Inthis direction, of the wild looting of the social base, the passing of the NDgovernment a year before the anti-labor bill, which abolishes the 8-hour workinghours and institutes (already) unpaid overtime, moves. At the same time, attemptsare being made to target and limit strikes and the radical demands of the labormovement. Movements that have long been standing demands of the ruling class withthe aim of intensifying labor exploitation and rooting out any form of resistancethat can develop in workplaces. A recent example is the struggle of the workersof Malamatina, who are on strike because of the unfair dismissal of 15 of theircolleagues and are facing state repression, which fully serves the demands of theemployer.The outbreak of war, after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the blood-stained waterand land borders, the refugees and immigrants piled on boats and in concentrationcamps, prove once again that the planetary bosses and rulers of this world arecompletely indifferent to the lives of the poor, the oppressed, the downtrodden.War has promised nothing but suppression of freedom, destruction, poverty,uprooting and death, inflicting significant losses on the lives of those belowand making them pawns on the war chessboard of the rulers. Against waroperations, intra-capitalist and intra-imperialist rivalries, ever-increasingmilitary armaments of states, nationalisms and intolerance, which serve only theinterests of local and international political and economic bosses, we putforward international solidarity, peace and freeing all people from the shacklesof the state and capitalism for a truly free society.Today's neoliberal administration is coming to implement the aggressive statepolicy of restructuring in all social fields. At the same time, the suppressionof social and class resistance as a whole is a necessary condition for theimplementation of their anti-social policies.The repressive campaign clearly aims to impose a regime of terror, a socialcondition dominated by silence, fear and submission. This social transformation,the change of social consciousness, the neutralization of social and classresistances are the conditions for the foundation of the conditions ofimposition. State and capital attempt to subjugate every voice that articulatesagainst their aggressive plans either with the MAT or by upgrading their legaland institutional arsenal. An all-out attack by the political and economicbosses, manifested in even more severe terms, against the social base, the poor,the outcasts, those who struggle. From the murderous attack on the 3rd FreedomFestival of Occupied Spaces and Collectives using asphyxiants to ThanasisPapakonstantinou's concert attended by 6,000 people inside the AUTH, the beatingof labor and strike mobilizations, such as at the Malamatina factory inThessaloniki, the arrests and beatings by repression forces encamped in parks,squares, hills and universities to the continuous and brutal crackdowns ondemonstrations in central Athens and the fabricated indictments and prosecutionsof anarchist activists.Against the organized attack of the state and capital, the only solution lies inthe organization of the struggle of the oppressed and exploited. Throughunmediated anti-hierarchical and unguarded struggles from below we can go on thecounter-attack against exploitation and oppression, fight for social revolution.To rebuild life with the basic ingredients of social solidarity, cooperation,without masters and slaves. To make generalized social Self-Direction a tangiblereality, to summarize political freedom and economic equality in the modernrevolutionary program.
