Right now, the world's attention is on Qatar, but not for the reasons you might think.

The country is hosting the FIFA Men's World Cup, even though it's one of the world's most dangerous countries to be LGBT+. And it's happening despite years of intensive campaigning by activists and everyday folks like you urging FIFA to reconsider.

As FIFA continues to drag its feet, their inaction is putting LGBT+ lives at risk. Recent reporting shows Qatar's "secret police" continue to kidnap, question, and even torture LGBT+ Qataris.

But something positive also happened this year, Luc. And that's YOU.

Thanks to All Out supporters, we were able to launch a campaign to take on global powerhouses like FIFA – demanding they use their power and influence to ensure the safety of LGBT+ Qataris. Our petition has been signed by more than 80,000 people!

But, Luc, we can't stop now. As you read this email, the World Cup is happening and so are attacks on the freedoms of LGBT+ folks. We must hold FIFA accountable.
