My name is Olena and I'm emailing you from Kyiv, Ukraine, where Insight, the LGBT+ organization I work for, is based.

Since Putin invaded my country 10 months ago, my life has radically changed. I never expected to live under constant bombing, without regular running water and with constant power failures for so long. But this has been the reality for many of us here in Ukraine.

But something beautiful also came into my life. And that's All Out members like you.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we have managed to bring key life-saving help to LGBT+ people on the ground in Ukraine throughout 2022. And All Out was the first to remit funds to Ukrainian LGBT+ activists on the ground, like me.

But, this war is far from over and, with Putin's bombs targeting our key infrastructures to make civilian lives even more dangerous, we still need your support.

Donations from All Out members – like you – earlier this year added up to the largest grant All Out has ever given to a grassroots LGBT+ organization.

To make sure that these funds were used in the most strategic and direct way to help Ukrainian LGBT+ people, All Out set up an LGBT+ Ukraine Fund and an Advisory Group made up of representatives from my organization, and others.

Together with other frontline activists on the Advisory Group, we helped to ensure that your donations reached LGBT+ people who were suffering, in danger, or refugees because of Putin's invasion of my country.

And it's thanks to your solidarity that LGBT+ activists on the ground in Ukraine like me can keep going.

Knowing I can count on tens of thousands of people around the world taking part in the All Out community, gives me hope for the future.
