Dear friends,
When my phone rang on the 28th of December, my heart jumped.
My name is Shadi Amin, and I am an LGBT+ activist from Iran, living in Germany. Since September 2022, my organization 6Rang (Iranian Lesbian and Transgender Network) and I have been fighting to save the lives of Sareh and Elham.
These two Iranian LGBT+ activists had been detained and charged with "corruption on earth" for their activism and sentenced to death.
We had to do something. Our only chance was to put pressure on the Iranian government by drawing a lot of international attention to the case. So, alongside our usual work, we started a petition with All Out, asking the Government of Iran to release the two.
🏳️🌈 More than 127,000 All Out members signed and created a lot of buzz around this unjust and cruel death sentence.
And it worked. When I received the call from their relatives, I could not believe it!
After months of massive media attention and international pressure, the appeals made by Sareh and Elham against the death sentences have been accepted. Iran's Supreme Court has sent their file to a court in Urmia, where they are detained for a retrial.
But they are still in jail, awaiting another round of court sessions and need your help!
Sign our petition, to dial up the pressure on the Iranian government now.
| Absolutely, I'll sign now! |
Thank you for going All Out!Shadi, 6Rang

Dear friends
Sareh and Elham are gender equality activists in Iran. Now they're at risk of being executed. They have been sentenced to death because of their activism.
"It is clear to all of us that what has taken place is not due process, but a re-run of a show familiar to many of us who grew up in the suffocating atmosphere of the Islamic Republic," says 6Rang, the Iranian Lesbian and Transgender Network.
Luc, sign ILGA Asia and 6Rang's petition to help save Sareh and Elham's lives.
| Yes, I'll sign for Sareh and Elham now |
Remember that you too can start your own petition for LGBT+ rights. Get started here.
Thanks for going All Out,The All Out team
