Dear friends,
Earlier this month, I marked seven years as Executive Director at All Out.
During those seven years, I've had the privilege of experiencing truly wonderful moments of LGBT+ joy and liberation. The first ever Pride in Eswatini. The decriminalization of homosexuality in India. The banning of so-called "conversion" practices in places like Mexico and Germany. And so much more.
Not a single one of these victories has been easy. They've all been based on years of tireless struggle and sacrifice by courageous and resilient LGBT+ activists around the world.
What I love about All Out is that it provides truly meaningful ways for people like you and me to show these incredible activists that we've got their backs. When we raise our voices, provide resources and send solidarity, they REALLY feel the power. And this power changes the world.
We're traveling together with these brave activists on a long and very bumpy journey towards a world in which nobody has to sacrifice their family, freedom, safety or dignity because of who they are or who they love. And that journey is not over.
