For tomorrow, Fridays For Future is once again calling for a global climate
strike. Demonstrations and actions are taking place in many cities and townsacross the country. Under the motto #tomorrowistoolate, a sign for more climatejustice is to be set. ---- As far as is known. But for the first time in a while,this climate strike may actually live up to its name. Because while the formerschool strike for the climate movement has long been a nationwide day ofmobilization, this time there is a strike again. ---- In many places, the climatestrike is organized together with the union ver.di and the colleagues at bus andtrain. These will stop working as part of the industrial action in the publicsector on Friday. The climate strike becomes a joint strike. Workers and climateactivists united for better working conditions and a real turnaround in transport.The unification of labor and climate struggles is long overdue. Not only for areal turnaround in traffic. Because only with the power of striking workers inthe companies where the climate crisis is being made can climate-destroyingcapitalism be stopped. Only with the workers can the switch to demand-orientedand sustainable production be organized in a different, self-governing society.We know that the necessary overthrow of capitalism is not on the agenda of thereformist trade union leaders. Nevertheless, we call on you to take part in thestrike on Friday together with your colleagues from public transport.
