In May and June, we as the Ruhr Platform invite you to a series of events in
various cities in the region under the motto "Why are you satisfied with thisworld?" where we can introduce ourselves and you can get to know us in order tobe active with us to become. Below is the invitation. ---- An inflation thatensures that we hardly have anything left in our pockets at the end of the month.Rents, which have been rising for years anyway. Lousy wages and bosses who harassus. Increasing social isolation. racist violence. sexist oppression. An everapproaching climate catastrophe. And wars all over the world. Our world is not well.But it must not and must not remain as it is. Even if it looks bleak today: Abetter world is possible. A free world in which we all live together equally andpeacefully; in which nobody has to worry whether they will have enough money forfood and rent tomorrow; in which everyone can develop freely according to theirideas; in which we live in harmony with the environment instead of destroying it.But this better world will not fall from the sky. They are opposed bycenturies-old social structures that ensure that crisis and violence stillcharacterize our everyday lives today: capitalism exploits us humans and theplanet. Racism and patriarchy mean everyday and institutionalized oppression forthe majority of society. And the state maintains these conditions with itsviolence. We have to overcome this system, there is no way around it!That's why we dissatisfied people have to band together and fight for ittogether! To do this, we have joined forces as workers, trainees and students inthe platform. We are an anarchist organization active across Germany withinvarious progressive struggles - e.g. unions, anti-racism, feminism, climatemovement - to advance them and build real power against the ruling system.We are currently looking for new comrades-in-arms in the Ruhr area.
