Dear friends,  This is a plea for help from Ukraine that has never been more URGENT! Yesterday, one of the worst disasters of the Ukraine war took place. A critical dam was blown up in the Russian-occupied town of Nova Kakhovka, causing life-threatening flooding that resulted in mass evacuations and sparked fears of widespread devastation. It is a truly terrible scenario for countless animals. Our team is on its way to save as many as possible. Please help us rescue the animals now!  The destruction was unimaginable: a dam holding roughly 18 cubic kilometers of water in the Kakhovka Reservoir, comparable in size to Utah’s Great Salt Lake, gave way. The aftermath? Massive evacuations, a fear of far-reaching devastation, and a heart-wrenching loss of life. Please donate now Our partner Vetmarket Pluriton has, since the start of the war, traveled into some of the most dangerous, devastated parts of Ukraine to feed and evacuate animals - three of their team members were even taken captive by Russian soldiers last year and held for months before being released. All because they were helping animals!
