Dear friends,

In the face of the latest Ukraine crisis, your unwavering support has allowed us to continue our mission to feedrescue, and care for animals. But the animals are still in terrible peril. To continue saving precious animal lives, we need your help right now.

We now find ourselves once again on the front lines of an urgent crisis.

As you may know, Ukraine is in the grip of a severe flooding disaster due to the Kakhovka dam being blown up, causing unmitigated destruction. Countless animals have been left stranded and in desperate need of aid. Thousands of homes remain underwater, and fears of infectious, water-borne diseases spreading. It is a disaster zone, and we must continue our rescue efforts. Will you help us?

The treacherous rescue missions require not just courage but careful preparation and an arsenal of resources that is beyond what would ordinarily be needed. Heartbreakingly, some heroic volunteers have been swept away by these perilous waters as a result of ill preparation and insufficient equipment. The stakes are extremely high, but we and our partners do it for the animals we care for so deeply.

And this is where we need your help.

You helped us buy a rescue boat built to withstand strong currents and carry up to 800 kilograms (1764 pounds) of weight, which is prepared to navigate the floodwaters and reach stranded, drowning animals.

Shelters are packed beyond capacity, and it is now urgent that we finish the Vetmarket shelter you have been helping us build. Without it, rescued animals have nowhere to go, and once saved, we simply cannot leave them on the streets of the war zone

We are near to completion of the structure of the shelter, but we must finish building it and equipping its on-site clinic with large veterinary cages and equipment. We must also create safe, comfortable areas for resident animals and provide veterinary care, food, and supplies for these now-homeless, familyless cats and dogs.

Imagine the fear and confusion these helpless animals are experiencing right now. Picture their relief when they are rescued, brought to safety, and given the care they so desperately need. You can help us make this difference.

Your gift today, no matter the size, can provide a lifeline for these animals and their familiesPlease consider making a donation to support our mission in this critical time of need.

We are immensely grateful for your support. Remember, in the face of crisis, compassion prevails, and every life counts.

For the animals,

IMAGINE the FEAR and PAIN… a happy little dog… abandoned by her family… then brutally hit by a car and left to cry, suffer and die. 5
