After centuries of male dominance, we currently enjoy the presence of 22
female leaders among heads of state and government, to which should beadded Cristine Lagarde, President of the ECB. All of them, in view ofthe European elections, intend to stay and strengthen their role. Wehave therefore focused our attention on three of them who hold keypositions in European politics, depicted in the triptych: Ursula Gertrudvon der Leyen, born Albrecht, who holds the position of President of theEuropean Commission, Roberta Tedesco Triccas, married to Métsola,President of the European Parliament to her right and the one portrayedon the side, the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, using them asparadigmatic figures for a more general reflection on women in politics.Feminism, in its post-1968 phase, has strongly supported the importanceof women's political commitment, affirming that their presence ininstitutions, especially if in the managerial and top positions ofpolitics, would certainly have contributed to making women more humane.decision of the governors, giving the actions of the Governments thatfeminine touch which would also materialize in politics a different wayof acting, preciselyof women. It even went so far as to argue that gender belonging had adecisive influence on the policies conducted by the various governments, regardless of their position in the political alignments, due to thesole fact that the institutions were managed by women; this belief wasdeclined in the slogan that has become famous and multi-purpose: "womanis beautiful".What is happening unequivocally demonstrates the fallacy of thisstatement, only if we examine the policies that characterize thegovernments and states in which we find women at the top. First of all,we note that, perhaps not by chance, their origin is mainly fromright-wing or center parties (which says a lot about the machismo of theleft) and that even when they belong to left-wing parties theirwarmongering and inegalitarian policies are not dissimilar from those ofgovernments that preceded them, governed by men, and, incidentally, thecase in which the leaders in question are openly apartments in or referto LGBTQ communities is not even an exception. On the other hand we have always thought that making political attitudesand positions descend or even considering them conditioned by the genderbelonging of the rulers or by their tastes or preferences in sexualmatters, represented an illustrious nonsense which in substance has atits base a content racist and discriminatory, since, like the factorrelating to ethnicity or skin color pigmentation, it is unacceptable andmisleading to consider it as a conditioning element of political behaviour. This is because we are well aware that politics is an expression ofideological convictions, but above all an expression of economic andmarket interests and therefore, as such, can be represented andguaranteed at top level, but also at any other level, independently, byindividuals belonging to different groups whether they are of asexual-emotional type or of culture and training, conditioned bybelonging to ethnic groups, and the possession of other elements that we would define as merelysuperstructural. In other words, if a governor is an asshole andconducts policies that damage the lower classes, or propose socialrelations marked by inequality, the persecution of minorities, themarginalization of the poor, they pursue the unequal distribution ofwealth, favoring the wealthier classes, supporting power politics thatresort to war and militarism to affirm positions of power and defend theinterests of which they are bearers, well, it doesn't matter whether therulers are men or women: all this only sows damage, for this reason itmust be fought. The three (dis)graces are emblematic examples in this sense. When woman is uglyThe three symbolic figures used amply confirm our point of view. ThePresident of the EU is "daughter of art", her father was President ofLower Saxony. She of changing cultural interests, she passed from thestudy of archeology to that of economics to finally arrive at those ofmedicine. Like many other politicians, not just Germans, you plagiarized43.5% of your degree thesis - as a commission of inquiry promoted by theHanover School of Medicine ascertained. she where she graduated, butthat she has maintained validity to her degree, claiming that she is notIt was ascertained how aware von der Leyen was of the plagiarism. Forher part, the person concerned was careful not to draw the consequences,as did other German politicians who fell into the same behavior. Shejoined the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) and became aminister, after numerous posts, she landed at the Ministry of Defense in2013 where she remained continuously until 2019 and where she was ableto cultivate her warmongering vocation. In this capacity she weavessolid ties with the war industry and in 2015 she is involved in ascandal linked to the purchase of 138 war helicopters: the aircraft, which cost the huge sum of 8.5 billion of state funds, also had numeroustechnical problems and critical issues. His relations with the Germanwar industry attracted the attention of Parliament, which launched acommission of inquiry into the cost of external consultancy from variousministries; on this occasion the minister demonstrates remarkableability to conceal her work by having the interceptions of hertelephones destroyed before they reach the commission of inquiry, inaugurating a peculiar skill of hers that she will also exercise later. In 2019 he promotes the German government's policy on arms exports toSaudi Arabia and Turkey and collaboration with India in the constructionof submarines. In 2019, supported by the German war industry and whilestill Minister of Defense of Germany, she became President of theCommission with 383 votes in favor out of 733 voters(just 9 votes away). From his previous position he resigned only the dayafter his election. In her new role, von der Leyen marries the businessof energy transition, environmental protection, technological innovationand economic sovereignty. From these choices comes the Geen New Dealplan which indicates as a priority the objective of "making the Europewill be the first climate-neutral continent by 2050, stimulating theeconomy, improving people's health and quality of life, taking care ofnature and improving the environment".During her mandate, von der Leyen had to face the Covid emergency andthe negotiations that led to the European Union's purchase of vaccinesproduced by Pfizer / BioNTech and AstraZeneca aroused many perplexitiesand suspicions. The request for access to documents was answered thatthe messages had been canceled because they were of an "ephemeralnature". Unnecessarily in February 2023, the New York Times takes theEuropean Commission to court for not having made public the exchange ofmessages between the President, Ursula von der Leyen, and the CEO ofPfizer regarding the negotiation that led to the purchase of vaccinedoses for Covid. But it is with the war in Ukraine that von der Leyen can fullyrediscover her genuine passion for arms and war, offering strong supportto Kiev not only to obtain funding but, above all, to promote theshipment of arms, not leaving out a public occasion to perform inclothing with the colors of the Ukrainian flag that replace hisimprobable pink sweaters. Her triumph was gathered at home by sponsoringthe government's choice to finance the country's rearmament with abudget of 1,000 billion euros, thanks to Defense Minister ChristineLambrecht. From Malta a Christian Democrat raised by the Brussels bureaucracyThe President of the European Parliament is, in turn, a product of theCommunity bureaucracy. A lawyer specializing in European political law,he held the position of judicial legal cooperation officer of Maltawithin the permanent representation of his country to the EU. Member ofthe Maltese Nationalist Party Movement Zghazagh Partit Nazzjonalista, was one of the leaders of the youth movement of the European People'sParty and general secretary. she distinguishing herself in thecharacterizing and identity politics of the party of clear opposition tothe LGBTQ movement, for which she hypothesizes a special differentiatedlegislation and identifies homosexuality with belonging to Sovietcommunism (sic!). After failing to be elected to Parliament severaltimes in both 2004 and 2009, you were replaced by a party colleague whoresigned after being elected to the Maltese Parliament. On 11 January2022 you succeeded David Sassoli as interim President of the EuropeanParliamentafter the death of the latter and elected President of theEuropean Parliament with 458 votes. As a good opportunist, genuinelyright-wing, she supports and works for a rightward shift of thealliances of the European People's Party, made up of the Populars andthe Conservatives which excludes the Socialists. The deep knowledge of the internal functioning mechanisms of thecommunity bureaucracy allowed her to move with skill and to take sidesin defense of the community institutions on the occasion of the scandalconnected to the lobbying activities in favor of Morocco and Qatar bythe deputy Pansieri & others. On the Ukrainian issue and on the war, it too took radicallypro-Ukrainian positions, adopting solidarity symbols in matters ofclothing and professing radical Atlanticism on every occasion, sponsoring the supply of weapons to Ukraine and declaring that itpursued military defeat Russia asthe only possible solution to the conflict.Giorgia Meloni the sovereign pro-EuropeanSupporter of the primacy of the nation, Meloni has always beenanti-European and sovereignist; having become prime minister of Italy, for political convenience, she changed her strategy in the communitysphere. Maintaining the strengthening of her power in Italy and thetransformation of the country into a corporate society with deeplyfascist values and political principles as her objective and center ofinterest, today Meloni, having acquired the awareness that the economicand governmental power of a country of the The European Union nowresides in Brussels and not in Rome, it aspires to become, with itsgroup of Conservatives, of which it is president within the EuropeanParliament, the backbone of the alliances which preside over theelection of the European Commission, at thein order to determine its economic and social policies and ensure thatthe choices at the central level fall back and are reflected within thecountry of Italy. It is for this reason that the Meloni government, ever since it tookoffice, has aimed at intervening in foreign policy, implementing adivision of roles and functions between the action of the Brothers ofItaly party which carries out political activity mainly within insidethe country is that of the premierm which operates on the front offoreign policy for a new position of Italy in Europe, rigorously pro-US.especially at thein order to determine the conditions for the displacement of themajorities within the Union and for changing its policies anddecision-making processes, favoring the power of the States over that ofthe Commission, the powers of national law over that of the Community. The enveloping maneuver towards the community institutions has oneobjective: that of the European elections of June 2024, on the occasionof which the fascist leader pursues the objective of giving life to anew majority in Europe, with an alliance between Conservatives andPopulars to have the green light from the European Union to its stablesin Italy, aimed at making control of the country stable and lasting. Thegoal is to bring about a real transformation of customs, of socialbehaviour, of relations between classes,It should be noted that one of the characteristics of this politicalstrategy is the gaze constantly turned to the past, to that need forrevenge, for revanchism which well expresses the resentment derivingfrom a defeat that still burns, summarized by the cult of the flame thathas not been abandoned by the symbol of party he leads.Better to lose them than to find themLooking at what the three (dis)graces express and represent those whosuggest, we cannot help but look with contempt and horror at these threewomen who represent and summarize the values and contents of a policy ofregression of social and productive relationships, of oppression of thelower classes, of growth of inequalities, poverty, labor slavery, personal and human civil liberties of women and men. Their presence onthe political scene is an invitation to political militancy in thesocial struggle, it signals the need for an alliance, albeit momentary, between progressive, genuinely liberal forces, people of good will, revolutionaries who fight for a society of free and equals, to avoidthat the oppression of everyone and the institutions, enemies of thepeoples, promote war, lead Italy and all of Europe towards a future ofcultural, value and human retreat, making it fall towards the dark timesof its history. let everyone understand that a woman may not bebeautiful, but rather the personification of horror, since people, andabove all politicians, evaluate themselves on their behaviors and ideas, rather than on the parameter of gender. The editorial staffhttp://www.ucadi.org/2023/07/10/le-tre-disgrazie/_________________________________________A - I N F O S N E W S S E R V I C EBy, For, and About AnarchistsSend news reports to A-infos-en mailing listA-infos-en@ainfos.ca
