"competitive advantage" that quantum computers and neural networks
designed in imitation of the human brain provide to the states and
economic powers that possess them.

The potential of these networks already today surpasses by thousands of
times the mnemonic, learning, rationalization and environmental
adaptation capacities of the human brain, and they will soon be able to
take possession of all the knowledge freely available in digital format
(Naomi Klein defines it as the "greatest robbery in history"), to
transform every structure of thought (by greatly amplifying the
stupidity, passivity, taming induced by the Internet), to colonize
everyday life with thousands of applications, to simulate finally
emotions, feelings, creativity. But above all they will come to
replicate themselves in full autonomy, allowing the new (de)generative
machines to become the perfect substitutes for man and nature, thus
realizing that all-encompassing utopia that capitalism has been pursuing
for at least three centuries, secretly or not.

Analysts speak of a "transition period", which has already begun, which
from A.I. specialized and fragmented into myriad applications,
controlled by small state elites, large companies and individuals, could
lead to A.I. generalist, where the integration of the various networks -
dictated by the principles of optimization and maximization of the
"reward" borrowed from capitalism - would allow the autonomization and
"creative" self-replication of machines, to the detriment of all humanity.

To curb and reverse the perverse effects of information capitalism,
launched at full speed towards the destruction of the planet and of
humanity, there is not much time left to lose. Even the A.I. must
immediately be the object of study, reflection and organization of
anti-system movements: it is necessary to mobilize the squares - as has
been done with nuclear power and is being done with climate change -, to
identify its weak points (it is known that the more sophisticated
technology becomes and centralized the more fragile and permeable it
becomes to sabotage, boycotts and non-collaboration), contrast it with
alternative mechanisms of communication, production and distribution,
which must be federated and placed on the net, oppose it with community
and mutualist practices.

In my opinion, it will be possible to trust in a growing disaffection of
the populations, that the A.I., especially in the classist and
oligarchic society that lies ahead in the coming decades, will subject
to suffocating police control, will deprive of work and vital subsidies,
enslave, marginalize in urban ghettos: all phenomena that cheap access
to luxuries will not be enough to contain over time. But alliances with
those forces that will abandon the illusion of uninterrupted progress
under capitalist aegis and will try to experiment and build from below,
together with us, a real alternative society, humane and supportive,
will be even more decisive.
