In preparation for the day of 23 September and to continue meeting in
the streets to talk together about repression (what it is, how itaffects each of us and above all how we can deal with it), the Assemblyagainst repression in Trieste launches an assembly- aperitif on Tuesday22 August at 7.30 pm in Campo San Giacomo. ---- We therefore want tocontinue the collective discussion that began at the beginning of thesummer and start building together the anti-fascist benefit of 23September, organized following the launch of the investigations against8 "guilty" comrades of having participated, together with many others,in the procession of the 25 April. Because the digossini maybe yes, butrepression doesn't go on vacation.As is known by now, the searches carried out in June in the homes ofvarious compañeras (during which, among other things, computers andmobile phones were seized on truly ridiculous charges) were followed bya very low-level whodunit story: the glass of a car smashed in themiddle of the night by a group of "unknowns", the theft of uselessobjects (except the highly prized elderberry syrup) and a bug clumsilyplaced between the cables under the steering wheel.These are only the latest concrete events of local repression, but wewant to reiterate once again how repression is a general strategy,implemented by state powers in order to maintain a status quo made up ofexploitation, intolerance and sadness.
