movement to organize from the bases. This is how three axes were raised
to, from there, discuss what it means to be a worker today.

Historical axis, by Jacinto Cerdá who made a presentation on the origins
of the labor movement (national and international), placing the focus on
the different perspectives acquired by labor organizations over time:
strategies, ways of doing politics, organization of actions, propaganda,
etc. The meetings and disagreements that brought us to the present state
of affairs and the role of the F.O.R.A as a motor for the organization
of the workers.
Legal/labor axis, Leonardo Elgorriaga on the interconnections between
legal norms and the political-social contexts that give rise to them
with emphasis on collective bargaining processes.
Axis organization and current affairs, how to create spaces that can
share trade unionism with cooperatives and small units of production and
consumption? The invitation was given by Hernán Mancuso who, throughout
his address, presented problems, aspects related to economic analysis,
as well as the difficulties that currently arise for the working class
to organize: his analysis was permeated by the different ways of working
that are known today and the tensions that arise when analyzing them
from the work = work dichotomy.

The large and heterogeneous concurrence enabled debates where the axes
were interconnected through testimonies, experiences of struggle,
nostalgia and a need to enable modes of creative thinking that lead to
the implementation of actions to not only improve daily life of the
workers but also to project towards sustainable futures for the whole.
Futures that can transcend the urgent to think about common destinations
where words like bread, peace, rest and recreation do not seem like
distant utopias or luxuries for a few.
