Together with the SF-Intersindical and ALFERRO unions, strikes are setevery Friday starting on August 4 demanding an improvement in workingconditions. ---- The Federal Railway Sector of the Barcelona GeneralLabor Confederation (SFF-CGT) have issued a statement to inform of themobilization called together with SF-Intersindical and ALFERRO demandingan improvement in the working conditions of the auditors that provideservice on international Renfe trains in the Barcelona-Lyon andBarcelona-Marseille connections.The anarcho-syndicalist organization has stated that the company hasplunged workers into disinformation and neglect throughout its plan todisembark in France, without ever clarifying the fit that the newfunctions and responsibilities that French law requires of thecontroller in French soil, and that are far from those contained in thelegal framework and Spanish railway regulations. As an example, theymention that Renfe would not have agreed to cover more than the first300 euros in the case of health care in France, since in this countrythere is a health co-payment.CGT describes Renfe's negotiating attitude as opaque, moving thedialogue away from Barcelona and relegating it to other technical tablesof the group to be dealt with from Madrid, and criticizes the passivityof the UGT and CCOO in this regard.
