Who brings the people back to the slaughterhouse of war with
mathematical precision, from where the countries and people, who werenot lucky enough to be born in the so-called 'developed' West, neverescaped? Is it Putin and his 'oriental authoritarianism', thewarmongering US hawks, or the European Union's neoliberal hardliners? The answer is simple: ALL of them• because what gives birth to wars, conflicts, injustices, death and the unspeakable tragedies of humanityis the globalized capitalist system. In peacetime it subjugates, exploits and squeezes workers in all lengths and widths of the earth, oppresses and abuses the weakest and accumulates untold riches for theglobal oligarchs - alike everywhere: in the United States, in the E.U.,in Russia and in China. This savage attack that societies are currently experiencing, inconditions of the deep and comprehensive systemic crisis and thede-legalization of the political system worldwide, is escalating andexposing both the incurable contradictions of the state-capitalist modelof organization, and its absolute inability to produce any coherentsocial vision, perspective or hope. The roots of this ever-increasingaggression lie in the very nature of the oppressive and exploitativesystem. The need for deepening and expanding authority and power isoriented towards controlling all human activity, in order to fullysubordinate society to the dictates of the state and bosses. Thestate-capitalist system has been built on the basis of the absurdity ofsocial and class oppression, which seeks to perpetuate itself by anymeans possible and therefore perpetuating its destructive effects onsociety and nature. Its disintegration -so visible today- is not theresult of the multifaceted crisis. On the contrary, the multi-facetedcrisis is the result of the deep disintegration and bankruptcy of thesystem at social, political and ethical levels. It is precisely thisdecay and total bankruptcy of the world, of the state and capitalismthat constitutes the limit of its global integration and, at the sametime, the cause of the intensification of intra-imperialist conflictsand the consequent increase of the threat of war. The state capitalistsystem continues to bring its own contradictions within itself, thecompetition between the bourgeois cadres for their better positioning onthe board for the looting and pillaging and then the sharing of thevaluable -yet limited- natural resources, for the expansion of their"sphere of influence" is what makes the sirens of war sound again andagain. Because, as long as societies are bound by the so-called'national interest', the private profit and the capitalist accumulation, war will be the one-way street of the empires in conflict. Thiscapitalist determinism, however, does not in any way mean that thesystem of oppression is heading towards its own elimination, due to itsown impasses and contradictions. If the peoples do not take their fatein their own hands, then the overall living conditions will become evenworse, with war being the main threat, but also with furtherimpoverishment and misery. We observe that while globalised capitalism unifies fields through thecolonization of space by the power relations it carries, at the sametime, the nationalist narrative in each nation-state is well preservedand protected, either as a supposedly necessary condition of defenseagainst visible and invisible threats, or clearly as an ideologicalpreparation of the common people for their participation in the warmachine of the rulers. Everywhere the same old stories: In Ukraine, onceagain we watch the well-known Western scoundrels exploit social protest, they deflect it into a manipulable political event, they finance theextreme right that has developed in a context of rising anti-Russiannationalism, managing to impose on the political field a Western liberalgovernment, which while at power, legalizes the neo-Nazis as a vanguardfor the dirty business: dozens of unarmed people are being killed inOdessa...On the other hand, the Russians exploit the suspicion of theRussian-speaking people in the region, they militarily support theirsplit-off attempts and finally, under the known pretext of supportingminorities and "living space", they invade the whole country from sideto side to achieve a new reversal in the political field and bringUkraine back into their sphere of influence. Civilians are bombed, people are killed, infrastructure and lives are destroyed... Choosing aside is like putting a gun to one's head. For the poor, the worker, for someone who has absolutely no interestin choosing sides -if they do so- it equals to an unlimited tragedy, notonly because this will lead through a faster step in the havoc of wardestruction, but because it means that they do not understand theenormous importance of doing everything in their power to stop this andevery war. As it has been shown in Ukraine, peace does not lie in thevoluntary embrace with one or the other imperialist pole, nor in makingwhole countries into protectorates. Peace does not lie in nationalism, military armaments, battalions and armored brigades. Today, when theweapons systems of the dominants can inflict huge losses on the peoplefrom below, now more than ever the old famous cry of internationalism isonce again relevant: PROLETARIANS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!Let us not become meat for the bombshells of the bosses, let us fightmilitarism, let us block war here and everywhere on the planet. Greeceis a member of NATO and the EU and is deeply attached to theEuro-Atlantic tank, responsible for so many criminal interventions overthe last and not only years. Also, the renewal of the Greek-US defensecooperation with the upgrading of the NATO base of Souda and its role inthe wider region, the transfer of "special" weapons to the Araxos airbase and the extension of existing military bases to a number of regionsof the country, including Larissa, Stefanovicio and the helicopter basein Alexandroupolis, are other examples of the validation and expansionof the relations of the Greek and the American state, the affirmation ofthe attachment of the domestic bourgeoisie to the chariot of thedominant international, political-economic elite and the strengtheningof the role of the Greek state in the Balkan and Eastern Mediterraneanregions. The footstool of the Western Coalition which bears the title ofPrime Minister of the country, without of course asking anyone, hasalready begun military material missions, by sending C-130 combataircraft. His cretinism might be written in indelible letters in thehistory of the country. It is our duty to fight against the officialinvolvement of the country in the war. However, this position is by nomeans the hypocritical pretext for the indirect support of anyauthoritarian camp; in the same faith in the principles of proletarianinternationalism that we call for anti-war mobilization here against allmilitary coalitions, with the same intensity we support anti-war ralliesin Russia and anywhere people understand that the field of war isactually the slaughterhouse of the weak. We may struggle on this pieceof land, but the enemy is everywhere. It's global capitalism in all itsforms. But everywhere too there are anarchists and people who want to fightagainst the war state and capitalist machine. The anarchists in theirlong history never ceased fighting against the rulers whatever facadethey wore to satisfy their particular interests: the interests ofbosses. Whether English imperialism, American "anti-terrorist war" orSoviet "socialist and anti-imperialist" intervention, anarchists struckthe alarm against war and militarism, trying to cover the sirens ofimpending bombings, impending barbarity. That is what we are going to dotoday! Because either we will stop the war or we will have to suffer itsterrible consequences. Consequences that will have a direct impact onthe lives of the poor and the weak, whether they concern the cost oflife or life itself, the value of which is beginning to be trivializedon European, as it is trivialized by the global bosses in the capitalistregion and the bodies of refugees and immigrants who are uprooted. It isthe duty of the revolutionaries to support the growth of a strong andtruly horizontal anti-war movement that will fight for the right of theoppressed, of the people from below, as opposed to the hypocriticalcalls of the liberals who are trying to exploit humanity to fuel it fortheir new war plans. Against the dystopia of Modern Totalitarianism, where the vast majority is impoverished & subordinated, we should objectthe libertarian society that is organized through the federal, socialcouncils. We should solely trust the ones holding up the flag ofproletarian internationalism - and no other than that!SOLIDARITY WITH THE PEOPLE OF UKRAINE - IMMEDIATE CESSATION OF THERUSSIAN INVASION & WAR CONFLICTSSOLIDARITY WITH THE REFUGEES AND UPROOTED PEOPLESOLIDARITY FOR THOSE WHO PROTEST AGAINST THE WAR AND ARE SUPPRESSED BYTHE RUSSIAN STATEAGAINST NATO, THE EU AND THEIR DESIGNS, NO TOLERANCE TO ANY WARINVOLVEMENT OF GREECE.
