"We see ourselves as anarcha-feminists. But what does that mean in
concrete terms? ---- The short version is: we reject any form of rule,including that of patriarchy (rule of fathers/men). ---- Thereforeconditional Consistent anarchism, in our opinion, also consequentfeminism. Conversely, however, we also understand feminism as ananarchist attitude, since we unite and rebel against it due to sharedexperiences of oppression through all forms of rule. Our feminism isintersectional and is therefore not only directed against specific formsof rule (as classically the patriarchy), but also against capitalistexploitation and racist violence/oppression. We see these mechanisms ofoppression as intertwined systems, so we do not want to overcome themseparately.In the lecture we first define some terms, analyze the connectionbetween capitalism, colonialism and patriarchy and present ourunderstanding of anarcha-feminism. We then critically examine themovement in German-speaking countries and explain the need foranarcha-feminist practice in more detail.
