But this horror has a name. State and capitalist crime. One more of
everything that only in 2023 we found ourselves facing. From the dead in
Tempi, the drowned refugees-immigrants in Pylos, the fires all over the
country and the charred bodies they left behind. Climate change, which
is constantly brought to the fore by state actors, is nothing more than
the criminal state management of the consequences, which the system
itself produces by destroying the natural world. A management that
permeates the whole of everyday life and its different aspects, making
our lives constantly meteoric, that plunders everything, that lets
forests burn for capital to exploit after the fact, that murders on the
train tracks because of complete lack of control and maintenance of
networks and communication between trains, which drowns people by towing
and overturning refugee boats emitting sos, which has destroyed the NHS
and people die on trolleys on their way to hospital, which rewards
employer negligence and the killing of workers in the warehouses of wage
slavery. In fact, the tragic events that shock us are not unfortunate
incidents or deviations of the system, but inevitable and constantly
escalating consequences that bring upon the natural world and society
the multitude of large and small interests, which spring from the
political itself and economic system of power.

It is the state, its local actors and capital that drowned Thessaly,
that knew of the non-existence of anti-flood works while millions had
been given for their construction, that did not notify thousands of
people to move away from their homes and go to safe places, who built
bridges to safely pass the trucks of the construction companies for the
transport of wind turbines drowning villages, who started after 2 whole
days the rescues of stranded people, who 4 prefectures do not have
electricity and drinking water, who do not care about the crows that
frolic on the misery and people's needs for a bottle of water, which
endanger the health of those in Thessaly, and beyond, with the diseases
conceived in this watery hell of mud, the dead, pesticides, excrement
and oil. They are the same ones who beat and brought dozens of
people-residents of the affected areas during the protest rally about
the crime that has been committed, outside the region of Thessaly, where
the prime minister offered crumbs to the people to do exactly what (?).

Because the state and capital does exactly what it knows how to do. To
exploit, to plunder, to suppress. To impoverish and bring to the surface
the most cannibalistic characteristics, as was done with the murder of
Antonis in the port of Piraeus. And where it needs help, it enlists what
is most intolerant, what is hostile to life and freedom, a wound in the
bowels of humanity itself, the counter-revolution. Fascism. From the
conspiratorial rhetoric that came out of the mouth of Mitsotakis that
immigrants are burning Evros to the fascist-bounty hunters who kidnapped
refugees and immigrants in Dadia. From the fascist attacks in the
cities, the beatings and murders of migrants such as migrant worker

At the opposite end, however, of all these state and capitalist crimes,
of the attempt to lose everything cohesive that unites the plebeians,
the poor, the oppressed and exploited and the re-mobilization of fascist
gangs, are all those and those who in solidarity and their
self-sacrifice stand on the side of all those in need. The volunteers,
the residents and the world of self-organization and struggle who
collect food, clothes, medicine and water, who rescue trapped people,
who open their homes for those who no longer have them, who in the past
put out the fires, who stand as a mound in the fascist assault
battalions, facing the repression of the state, which murders without
any hesitation and whose only concern is the preservation of its power.
That is precisely why it does not stop arming itself, marshaling a
police army, building a rhetoric of order and security and hitting all
those who struggle, targeting especially the anarchist movement and the
foci of collective and self-organized resistance, intensifying its
constant counter-insurgency strategy, for the rooting out the rebellions
that are gestating. Thus the anti-occupation campaign continues, with
the evacuation and demolition of the HEK Botanical Garden during the
fire in Rhodes, the evacuation of the self-managed shelter Ano Kato
Patisia and the social center Zizania during the days when people,
animals and trees were reduced to ashes in the Evros , and the targeting
of all occupied match spaces.

Against this condition of generalized attack, looting and destruction, a
broad social awakening and a total social critique of the impasse and
bankrupt system is required, the overcoming of assignment, mediation and
inertia, the strengthening of social-class struggles, the formation
self-organized, anti-institutional resistance fronts and the creation of
every possible rampart at every point where state and capitalist
aggression manifests itself. Faced with the dystopian future that the

collective resistance and struggle. To remind them what can happen when
society of exploited and oppressed people takes matters into their own
hands and massively and militantly resists their designs. If there is
anything left to be saved from the horror and brutality that the state
and capitalist system condemns us to, it is in our own hands. The only
solution for a world of equality, solidarity and freedom, for a world
where our lives will not be bargained for and will not depend on the
calculations of the rulers, for a world without wars, poverty,
plundering of nature, uprooting, diseases and death is the SOCIAL
REVOLUTION.
