8th in Florence, after many hours of resistance, the space occupied by

searched, as well as the headquarters of the anarchist club "Goliardo
Fiaschi" in Carrara and a printing press in Massa. Ten anarchists have
been investigated: four are under house arrest and the other six are
subject to the obligation to stay or sign.

The accusations against the ten suspects are serious: from association
with the aim of terrorism, to incitement to terrorism, up to contempt of
the President of the Republic. In support of an accusatory hypothesis
that could bury the anarchists who ended up in the sights of the Genoese
judiciary in prison for years, some writings appeared in the periodical
"Bezmotivny" (Without Reason). The mere editing and distribution of a
newspaper, emphatically defined as "clandestine", becomes the pillar of
the entire repressive operation.

Attacking the spread of non-conforming opinions is typical of
authoritarian regimes.

It is no coincidence that the crime of clandestine press was introduced
in Italy by the fascist regime to prosecute the newspapers that reported
the Matteotti crime. It currently provides, as a maximum penalty, a fine
of 600 euros.

The will of the Public Prosecutor's Office, which claims to be born from
the fight against fascism, is in perfect continuity with the legacy of
historical fascism.

The simple propaganda of ideas not aligned with the government is
pursued as terrorism. It is no coincidence that the same treatment is
not reserved for the many publications that carry forward fascist,
racist and denialist ideas, which support and foment hatred towards the
marginalized, the "different", migrants.

This is an inquisitorial leap forward compared to previous press
repression investigations when some specific crimes were also contested:
this time the accusation only relates to the methods of printing and the
content of the articles.

Even the other contested crimes, without any specific accusation, refer
only to the newspaper.

We are increasingly within what is defined as the "criminal law of the
enemy" where it is not the crime committed that counts, but who commits
it: the anarchists, the enemies of the state.

We strongly denounce the repressive escalation and the attempt to
silence all the realities that fight against government policies and
that want to change an unjust, violent and intolerable social order in a
libertarian and self-managed sense
