THE QUESTION of feminist self-defense is nothing new. It comes long. The
English suffragettes were already trained in Jiu-Jitsu techniques asself-defense to face police violence. A task that falls to bothmen and women, since predators, alone or in packs, continue to sweephomes and streets in search of victims.Most sexual attacks on women and children occur in 'family-friendly'settings with deceit and patriarchal authority. It is necessary to learnto detect attacks in advance, and manage attitudes, voices and gesturesthat serve to defend ourselves. Every human being should be educated insexuality and psychoaffectivity almost from the cradle. It is necessaryto learn not to shut up or keep silent.In this battle, education is a fundamental pillar to arm the attack onpatriarchy.
