hours of Saturday 12/8, the Pakistani worker Shiraz Saftar is murderedwhile he was going to his daily wage in the street of Perissos. Althoughhis personal belongings were found at the place where he was murderedand no one had been arrested, the establishment media in goodcooperation with EL.AS. they did not hesitate to reproduce the falsenarrative of the robbery and fight by his countrymen. A few days later,4 men between 18-20 years of Greek origin, residents of the wider areas,were arrested. The racist motivations of Shiraz Saftar's murder areimpossible to hide, so the system primarily tries to protect theevidence of his killers and hide the fact in order not to take anyfurther extent, investing in oblivion.We, however, do not forget or condone his murder. We know all too wellhow the poison of fascism spreads through neighborhoods and howneo-fascist groups attempt to regain their lost ground. From the firesin Evros and the death of 26 migrants in the forest of Dadia, but alsothe kidnappings by far-right self-proclaimed headhunters, the drownings,pushbacks and murders of refugees at the water and land borders, theoutbreak of war and the constant war preparations, the sharpening ofintra-imperialist rivalries, the aggravation of poverty andimpoverishment up to the fierce repression unleashed by the stateagainst students, activists, workers and prisoners, the state murders,the laundering of child rapists and mafia rings, the operation ofappropriating public spaces and the destruction of the natural worldreveals the deep rot of the state-capitalist system, which tries by allmeans to preserve its supremacy and perpetuate its existence. Thus stateand capital are reactivating their counter-revolutionary reserve and thefascist ranks - as evidenced by the dozens of parastatal attacks thathave been carried out recently - in order to take their place alongsidethe official repressive mechanisms to help crush the social and classresistance - as a tool of counter-insurgency policy - and in theintimidation of society.With solidarity as our weapon to give the slogan of the counterattackagainst state and capitalist brutality. The only response to war,nationalism and fascism, which the world of the state and capitalismgives birth to and nurtures, is the organization of social and classresistance.
