soon become a reference for all anti-fascist activists and more

is not intended to be an academic or encyclopedic sum on the issue, but
a practical guide, written by activists, who assume their subjectivity
and propose a vision of anti-fascism: "an egalitarian, united and
autonomous struggle against the extreme right ". The ten chapters, like
so many answers to ten often recurring questions when it comes to
anti-fascism, do not even avoid the questions that anger or divide but
which are often asked of us: the relationship to violence, or character
against -cultural of a certain anti-fascism. Concerning violence, if it
remains a tool, among others in the anti-fascist fight, it is recalled
that it is never an end in itself and that it must be proportional to
the danger we face. Finally, speeches systematically associating
anti-fascism with violence mask the intrinsically violent character of
the extreme right. The list of victims of this one is (unfortunately)
too long. As for the countercultural character, it is inscribed in the
very history of anti-fascism, and if some people often stick to its
external, visual aspects: logos, clothes, music, etc., the work usefully
reminds us that the symbols of anti-fascism: the red triangle, the three
arrows, the red and black flag, are above all part of a history, not
only of anti-fascism but of the resistance of the worker movement to

deny the strong links between the emergence of a punk/alternative scene
and a renewal of anti-fascism commitment at the end of the 1970s, first
