The reasons with which the Supervisory Court rejected the revocation ofthe 41 bis regime for Alfredo Cospito could be accepted in a psychiatrymanual as an example of the way of "reasoning" (or unreasoning) of amisfit, of a person incapable of measuring himself in a balanced waywith the difficulties and adversities of existence. In fact, the Courtwas not asked to say why it doesn't like Cospito and doesn't want tomarry him, but why he wouldn't be manageable as an ordinary prisoner. The Surveillance Court contests an alleged inconsistency on the part ofthe National Anti-Mafia and Anti-Terrorism Directorate, as it requeststhe revocation of 41 bis from Cospito despite recognizing that he is"socially dangerous" and that he is a "prominent figure". So accordingto the Surveillance Court, who would be the ideal prisoner under theordinary regime? A Mother Teresa of Calcutta in disguise?Beyond his climbing on mirrors, one can understand the real reason forthe Surveillance Court's resentment towards Alfredo Cospito. Before hebegan his hunger strike, no one knew what a black hole the 41 bis prisonregime was. It was sold to the gallows as an afflictive and restrictivedetention system for leaders of criminal organizations, that is, peoplewho have so many material means at their disposal that they can directcrime even from prison. It was a childish vision, given that the Stateand the Mafia are just acronyms, while concrete power cuts across thelegal and the illegal, as well as the public and the private; but the 41bis commercial still exerted its pathos as an epic of the fight againstthe mafiosi. Thanks to Cospito, the anti-mafia narrative collapsed andit was instead discovered that 41 bis is applied to a plethora ofprisoners (between seven hundred and eight hundred?), many of whom havenothing to do with organized crime; and it was also found that theisolation regime is not at all transparent, but rather subject toarbitrary choices, to the point that "meetings" between leaders ofcriminal organizations can be organized and encouraged. Thanks to twonaive henchmen of the fake Prime Minister Meloni, we also learned thatthese meetings could be the subject of wiretaps. For what? Some contestthe restrictive and afflictive regime of 41 bis as being a form oftorture. Of course, but here we go beyond torture, we are dealing withthe manipulation of prisoners. The media hype focused heavily on thedilemma of establishing whether or not the revelation of those wiretapsrepresented a violation of official secrecy. The most importantquestion, however, was another, and that is to understand whether thatmeeting during free time between Cospito and some bosses had beenorganized with a purpose. From the way things have gone, it seems thatit is considered legitimate to provoke a prisoner in the hope that hewill commit crimes. Then there were press releases from representatives of the prison policewhich were of a disconcerting "candor" (or realism). What is described(and also complained about) by the prison police is in fact the use ofthe typical emergency paradigm, that is, the dysfunctionality of theordinary prison regime has been favored in order to favor the expansionof the extraordinary regime of 41 bis. The more emergency there is, themore power you gain, you can skip procedures, you don't have to accountfor anything. The emergency also has a retroactive effect of absolutionfor all the lies that have been told. It is not surprising that theemergency has become a drug for those in power. The continuous emergencybecomes normality, therefore it is necessary to take ever greater doses,it is always necessary to relaunch by evoking impending catastrophes andenemies as deadly as they are monstrous.Videos of the arrest of Luca Dolce have been circulating online, as hesaw himself surrounded by a gang of thugs disguised as thugs. Accordingto the media narrative, the reason why Dolce even received the attentionof the NOCS is that he came into contact with Cospito, with his magneticand evil fluid. We have seen that within the judiciary there are alsothose who realize that the narrative and vindictive excesses implementedin the Cospito case have had counterproductive effects, the famous"heterogenesis of ends". Revenge is a very effective manipulativetechnique, which allows those in power to twist, turn and deceive publicopinion at will; but this is also true in the most everyday humanrelationships: it is as if vindictive people have a control panelalready incorporated, so all you have to do is press that button todirect them where you want.In our dear little peaceful Italy, power has been exercised since timeimmemorial, arousing and stoking a climate of score-settling. Fascismrepresents the textbook case of this model of social revenge; but alsothe pseudo-judicial coup d'état of 1992, with the consequent orgy ofprivatizations, was staged as revenge against the parties. Thepsychopandemic was an entire manhunt, with various prey: first therunners, then those who celebrated at home, but above all the "deniers"and anti-vax defectors. Speaking of "double standards", one should smileat the fact that in a country where incitement to civil war is anational sport, people pretend to be scandalized by certain phrases fromCospito. However, once power has set in motion certain manipulativemechanisms, it in turn remains bound and conditioned by the vindictiveclimate that has been triggered. If you try to stop or backtrack yourisk finding yourself overtaken due to internal competition within theoligarchies. The emergency mechanism therefore appears unstoppable, it does notdepend on the will of individuals but on the automatisms of a druggedsystem. They are forced to persecute Cospito because it is the only wayto absolve themselves. Gone are the good times when to be absolved ofyour sins it was enough to confess and receive communion. In thereligion of political correctness, a Paternoster and an Ave Maria arenot enough to be absolved; for the correct politician only the horror ofothers can erase our mistakes. In the religion of political correctnessthe absolution effect is not only retroactive but also preventive, iteven washes away future crimes. Thus this sort of transubstantiationoccurs in political correctness: the errors of the oppressed are alwayscrimes, while the crimes of the powerful are errors; indeed, evenbetter, they become simple "contradictions". The concept was expresslyformulated by the writer David Grossman: no one should allow himself tocompare Israel's mistakes with the horrors of Hamas. Only the presenceof an inhuman monster, of absolute evil, allows power to demonstrate itshumanity. For this reason we must dehumanize the enemy and always createnew monsters. Paradoxically, humanism is not humanitarian at all: giventhat human beings do not correspond at all to the human ideal, it isalways very easy to find the pretext to exterminate them. How patheticwere those Catholics who asked for our daily bread. In the religion ofpolitical correctness we must instead pray like this: give us today ourdaily Hitler.Comidadhttps://www.sicilialibertaria.it/_________________________________________A - I N F O S N E W S S E R V I C EBy, For, and About AnarchistsSend news reports to A-infos-en mailing listA-infos-en@ainfos.ca
