Officials in Florida are continuing their assault on the LGBT+ community. Over 300 books have already been banned in Florida schools, eliminating a lifeline for so many LGBT+ students. Everything from iconic coming of age novels to simple children's books like "And Tango Makes Three" – a story about two male penguins who raised a penguin family, are being banned from bookshelves.
This anti-LGBT+ book ban is a government-funded attempt to erase LGBT+ identities. Full stop.
But there's hope – an activist from Florida has launched this petition on All Out's petition platform, Megaphone, so you can do something about it.
