Save Zambia's suffering street dogs!

Please donate now

Dear friends,

In the bustling streets of Lusaka, Zambia, countless homeless dogs face a daily struggle for survival, grappling with hunger, disease, and the horrors of human cruelty that plague their existence.

Take a moment to imagine the soulful eyes of these voiceless animal victims who every day face appalling cruelty on the streets and the ever-present threat of being kidnapped for the illegal dog meat trade. They desperately need the support of animal lovers like you.

Please join us in providing aid to the terribly abused and suffering dogs of Zambia!

Please donate now

We are reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea to support our mission: to help dogs who have never known human kindness. Together with our partner shelter, the Cactus Foundation, our goal is to transform the lives of Zambia’s suffering street dog population by providing critically needed food, medicine, sanctuary, and love. However, we cannot make meaningful changes without your help.

No one knows how many street dogs scrabble a living in Lusaka, but we do know there are so many that every day they battle hunger, disease, and the possibility that at any moment, dognappers will seize and sell them for the dog meat trade. Each day is a fight for survival.

The plight of Zambia’s dogs is shameful; the time to act is NOW.

Every donation helps rescue street dogs and provide them with the best care possible at our partner shelter. The shelter is home to 360 rescued dogs and cats, many of whom have special needs and require lifelong care due to their traumatic ordeals. For many of these animals, Cactus is the closest thing to a home they will ever know.

These animals have endured unimaginable horrors, yet they yearn for the simple comforts many take for granted: a full belly, a robust and healthy body, a safe and cozy place to rest, and, most importantly, the warmth of love.

If we can raise $10,000 (around £8,000), we can provide life-saving food, medical care, and sanctuary for the desperate dogs of Zambia. Your generosity today isn’t just a gift, it’s a lifeline that will save countless dogs who have no one else to turn to. Please donate now!

Without your involvement, their chances of survival are heartbreakingly slim. Each donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to our goal

For the animals,

IMAGINE the FEAR and PAIN… a happy little dog… abandoned by her family… then brutally hit by a car and left to cry, suffer and die. 5
