At first glance, unemployment seems almost like an accident in the solid
structure of the supposed performance society. An exception thatultimately has to confirm the norm of employment. The exception remains the most effectivethreatening scenario for everyone who remains only partiallyenthusiastic about their role in the norm. Keyword: crappy job, hardlyany money? And so, despite every debate aboutfundamental rights and human dignity, the unemployed reserve workersmust be kept in poverty and humiliation, so that the still-employedworkers cheerfully roll up their sleeves and keep their feet still, evenwith poverty pension minimum wages and currency devaluation.An emancipatory movement, especially one that uses class struggle in itsvocabulary, cannot avoid wanting to stand in solidarity with thoseaffected. Furthermore, to understand the struggle of the unemployed as astruggle of the workers as such.
