30-01-2024 In this edition of BRUZZ International, we have a closer look at the Brazilian community in Brussels. Last Sunday on the show: Restaurant Bossa Nova Bossa Nova is known as one of the most authentic Brazilian restaurants in Brussels. It has grilled meat, an all-you-can-eat buffet and traditional Brazilian dishes. "We started small on Boulevard du Midi with a few tables. Now we have room for 200 to 300 guests." Report by Napoleon Ramos.   Watch the report Espirito Mundo Espirito Mundo is a socio-artistic organisation founded by two Brazilians. "In Brazil, I was no longer at ease because the political and economic situation had become very difficult for me. I felt stuck." Report by Jin Dubois. Watch the report Brazilian supermarket Magasin Carvalho Located near Brussels-South, Magasin Carvalho sells Brazilian products and also caters to the international community. "This is a picanha angus, a tailpiece. Very tender. It's top-quality meat." She is a single mother of two children. Through various organisations, she has been actively working against racism and poverty for years. "Sometimes you can work and still be poor. You can be educated and still be poor. Sometimes you have a house but not enough money to pay all the bills."
