The murder of Latin America's first non-binary magistrate Ociel Baena and their partner, Dorian Herrera, has left the LGBT+ community in an immense state of shock – especially Mexico's non-binary community.
However, the premature conclusions and misleading statements by authorities and media seem aimed more at brushing the murders under the rug, rather than seeking truth and justice.
