* The previous year was marked by the continuation of the war inUkraine, and then the systematic destruction of Palestine started byIsrael. Israel's attack on Palestine led to a series of protests insupport of Palestine in the world, including in Serbia.* In Serbia, the year was marked by inflation, but also numerous newsabout the dismissal of workers, such as the workers of the Kragujevacwaterworks, who were dismissed after going on strike. In addition, wehave heard news about deaths at the workplace, so we know of at leasttwo female factory workers who died because they were not given medicalhelp in time.* Due to poor working conditions, the workers of Falk Ista in Knjazevac,educators went on strike, and the Post went on strike for a month, whichcontributed both to the loss of profit for the Post's administration andto the fulfillment of the demands of the workers.* The authorities did the same thing as they do now - they ignored thepostmen and kept them on the brink of existence, and then threatenedthem when they revolted, enabled the owners of companies such asKatembo, Drink Store, Ana Cirkovic doo and the like not to pay theworkers, to im people working illegally, so they can't get sick leave...* Another election was organized, in which SNS won, and which againturned out to be a farce. After the elections, the opposition startedprotests with which they wanted to lead to the annulment of the electionresults, and for this purpose they also mobilized students. As ananarcho-syndicalist initiative - we certainly believe that the electionsare a grab for the position of robbers, irrelevant for the working classand that the improvement of the quality of life can only be achievedthrough direct struggle. In Novi Sad, a worker was accused of attempted murder because sheattacked the owner of a bakery who refused to pay her wages. Theaforementioned worker was put in a desperate situation where she couldnot feed herself, which led to violence. However, at the end of the day,the worker herself is a victim of this system, in which almost any of uscan find ourselves in her position.* We were given some hope by the case of the former employees of theDrink Store (Andrax doo), with whom our initiative launched a campaignof boycott and public pressure on the boss Dragan Marinkovic 2 yearsago. With great persistence and the will not to give up, they managed tofight for unpaid wages and contributions!* Our organization participated in several campaigns against differentcompanies, some of which were smaller and some more successful.
