Photo club Viewfinders

Founded in 1994, Viewfinders Photography Club of Brussels is an enthusiastic group of photographers from a wide range of backgrounds. English is the language of communication, and everyone is welcome.
"Viewfinders organises one evening meeting a month and also a number of photo walks, usually on Saturdays. We go to a place no more than 100 kilometres from Brussels, spend the day together, have a good dinner and then share our photos."Report by Michael Chia.

La Parla at Full Circle Brussels

The concept behind La Parla is simple. All participants write on their name cards what languages they speak. If someone's card says Italian and you want to practise that language, you can start a conversation.

"Once my friend said: I'm trying to learn Mandarin, but I probably won't find anyone. As it turned out, two other people wanted to speak Mandarin that night. I was surprised, but it was wonderful to see."Report by Méabh Mc Mahon, Jin Dubois.

Writer Tola Ositelu

British writer and researcher Tola Ositelu moved from London to Brussels on a hunch. Only to find out that this is the right city for her, both for writing and singing."I started my second blog at the end of 2017, when I moved to France. And it was a bit of a social experiment, because it felt like a major change. I was moving to mainland Europe and wanted to capture the culture shock."Report by Napoleon Ramos.
