We are facing a critical situation in Burkina Faso. On 22 September 2023, the Transitional Legislative Assembly proposed draconian measures against the LGBT+ community.
We need to act now. The proposals under discussion include banning homosexuality, as well as restricting the creation of associations defending the rights of sexual minorities. These measures, if adopted, would represent a flagrant attack on human rights, endangering the lives of thousands of people.
