spaces, and to impose mega works that are useless and harmful to the
environment.

The fascist-led government currently in office has clearly given an
authoritarian acceleration to the political framework, but the trend has
been underway for years: now every space for political mediation in
social conflicts has closed, and who better than the heirs of fascism is
suitable to complete this process?

If it is clear to us that at this moment the main enemy is this
right-wing government and its local offshoots, we also have a long
memory and we have not forgotten that the dismantling of social services
- starting from healthcare and schools - sees aligned from all political
parties for years.

For this reason we have always believed that struggles must be carried
out with maximum autonomy from the institutional and political
framework, through the most diverse, multifaceted and broad experiences
of social self-organization.

In this sense, the battle in defense of the counseling centers has so
far been an example of how to build a broad consensus in society without
abandoning radicalism in the contents and methods of struggle.

In front of us the other side feels strong but we know that we can win,
as happened for example with the fight against the Danieli steelworks
project in San Giorgio di Nogaro. We need to work to increasingly
transform the widespread anger among people into awareness and the will
to fight.

For our part, we will, as always, be alongside the Nonunadimeno
comrades, the Committee for consultants and all the experiences of
grassroots struggle.
