FOR WOMEN!
Unpaid housework and care work still falls largely on the shoulders of
women. There is often no way around a part-time job. In many sectors
that are largely driven by women, such as the social, educational or
health sectors, the working conditions are physically or psychologically
intolerable, there is a lack of staff and wages are low. There is also a
wave of inflation. Any increase in prices, but not wages, means wage
theft! If the high level of poverty in old age for women is not enough,
the retirement age for women will be raised from 2024. Price increases
and social cuts meet a deeply patriarchal social relationship.
NO TO WAGE THEFT - FOR HIGHER WAGES! FULL RECOGNITION OF CARE TIMES FOR
THE PENSION! FOR A FAIR DISTRIBUTION OF CARE WORK AND FOR GOOD WORKING
CONDITIONS!
With SIX women murdered in ONE day!!! Brutality and violence against
women and girls in Austria has reached its highest level. They are
"femicides" (murders of women, mostly by ex-partners, husbands, fathers
and sons) and are usually just the tip of the iceberg of a long history
of violence. Women who want to report violent perpetrators are often not
believed or blamed by the police and courts. In addition, only one (!)
in 10 rapists is convicted.
SISTER WE BELIEVE YOU! AHEAD IN THE FIGHT AGAINST VIOLENCE AGAINST
WOMEN! NO WOMAN LESS - WE WANT OURSELVES ALIVE!
Militarization and rearmament are growing worldwide on a scale not seen
in decades. With more than 18 billion euros for the armed forces,
Austria should also be made "capable of war again". Trampling
neutrality, the Austrian government is joining the war path of the EU
and NATO by participating in EU arms projects or "Sky Shield". Weapons
from Austria, one of the largest exporters of small arms, are used to
repress democratic and revolutionary movements, as well as to expel and
murder civilians. Imperialist wars are waged on the backs and at the
expense of the population, accompanied by the fomentation of patriarchal
ideas and even systematic rape as a weapon of war. Let's show that we
don't support this course!
NO TO MILITARIZATION AND IMPERIALIST WAR! MORE MONEY FOR WOMEN'S
PROJECTS INSTEAD OF UPGRADES!
No rights were ever "given" to us - and even today we need a militant
women's movement to fight for the continued existence of our rights! The
oppression and exploitation of women is an integral part of the
capitalist social order. However, democratic and revolutionary movements
in which women are a central force are currently growing again around
the world. In solidarity with women around the world, we will be on the
streets on March 8th - for our rights, against patriarchy and capital!

From 7 p.m. women's festival in the Pankahyttn (U3-Johnstrasse No. 45)
with drinks and entertainment, because you want to celebrate sometimes!
