Teddy was found in a horrifying state, with his two hind legs and tail severed, essentially decapitated. We don’t know what caused these grievous injuries, but a concerned local reached out to us for help, and we couldn’t turn our backs on him. When we first saw Teddy, we weren’t sure he would survive, but his spirit and will to live were evident. We cleaned and bandaged his wounds, and he is now slowly gaining strength. His recovery is a long journey, and your support is crucial in making it possible.

Every day, Teddy shows a bit more of his sweet personality, despite the pain he has endured. His tiny tail, which has been so cruelly harmed, is showing signs of healing. We hope to see it wagging soon, a testament to his courage and determination. While he has a long way to go before he can be fitted for a wheelchair, which he will need as he grows, we are committed to giving him every chance to live a happy, healthy life.

Immediate surgery isn’t an option as he wouldn’t survive it in his current condition, but we need to prepare for the next steps in his recovery.
