Location: Steki P (Kambouroglou 44 & Samara 2, Kato Patisia) ---- The
"BLACK RED FLAG" is a monthly informative political newspaper that
circulates in the western suburbs of Athens and is addressed to the
working people, the unemployed and the youth of the areas. He wants to
speak to those who work under adverse conditions and experience labor
exploitation, the looting of income, the stress of survival, insecurity
for the future, the curtailment of their social and labor rights. To
communicate and get to know those people who are anxious today for their
quality of life and well-being, in a world where the prevailing
political and economic system is consigning society more and more to
poverty, destitution and despair.
The "BLACK RED FLAG" is spreading that another solution exists for the
organization of society, economy and political life. This solution is
brought by the movement of anarchism and its ideas, which are in
opposition to all dominant ideologies, whether they support the present
system of capitalism and the state, or the former socialist states. The
solution advocated by anarchism goes through the historically necessary
and imperative overthrow of the existing regime and the reorganization
of society with workers' control of production, equality in the
distribution of social wealth, popular making of all decisions and
social progress based on collective benefit and not the
individual gain of the few at the expense of the many.
The responsibility for issuing and circulating the "BLACK RED FLAG" is
currently the "Initiative of Anarchist Saints Anargyro - Kamaterou".
"For now" because the goal of our core, is the creation of a political
organization of all the western suburbs as a first step for
building a new cinematic perspective of organized anarchism in the Greek
area. More about our action, positions and goals can be found on our
website.
The newspaper will be published regularly and will include, among other
things, articles concerning political, economic and social current
affairs, ideological and historical articles, interviews, calls and
responses from our actions, as well as articles by members and friends
of our political core regarding the above or and other thematic items.
