contested there too. Even doctors reacted to this insult. The Order of
Physicians intervened with a letter to the Ministry of Health calling
into question the Vatican State for the "brand of infamy impressed by
the Pope on the medical profession, and for interference in the
legitimacy of a law of our State". There is a limit to everything but
Bergoglio is boundless. He reiterated the condemnation of "feminism as a
form of extremism", to conclude that "the church is a woman", as
demonstrated by the grammar that frames the term in the feminine gender:
a wink to say that after all it is open and modern.

There was no need. In the march against the self-determination of women,
and free subjectivities, that the Pope names as followers of the "gender
theory", the Church has many allies. In the squares it is represented by
the so-called Pro-Life Movements that for decades have been fighting the
choices of others, in Parliament a complicit right-wing and center-right
policy. The Regions have been for years a laboratory for experimenting
with laws aimed at increasing the difficulties of access to voluntary
interruption of pregnancy: the motions for life, the cemeteries of
fetuses, the opposition to the guidelines for medical abortion, the
objectors, and finally the funds for anti-abortion associations. The
last case is the Piedmont Region that through the funding of the
Nascente Life Fund has opened the "listening room" at the Sant'Anna
hospital in Turin. Funds diverted from the PNRR while healthcare,
counseling centers, welfare, are in disarray (for further information

"pro-life" from the UN counseling centers n. 15 of 28/4/2024). Added to
this is the coercive work of persuasion to motherhood, to be rigorously
brought back within the framework of the traditional family. The
"cultural" initiative promoted by the States General of Birth, which
will also be taken on tour starting from Bologna on October 12, goes in
this direction.

Bergoglio's communication skills are a fact, in the commercial field it
would be said that "he knows how to sell his product well". Which is a
product made of hatred, violence, aggression, oppression and
obscurantism, of war on freedom. In the dramatic military escalation
that characterizes this historical moment, in the massacres we witness
daily, in Ukraine, Palestine, Sudan and all those we do not see, the
Pope has earned sympathy even from the so-called left for his generic
condemnation of war and for his equally faded exhortations to dialogue
between the parties. And with the encyclical letter "Laudato si", he
positioned himself on the interconnection between environmental crisis
and social crisis. The Pope with many faces is also a pacifist, an
ecologist, the only statesman (he is the head of the Vatican State) who
condemns war and preaches peace and love, therefore for some even the
companion Pope. Be careful.

The Pope wages war on those who rebel against the subjugation to their
sexual role, functional to social reproduction, on those who claim the
freedom to choose how to live and love, but he will never wage war on
profit, and on the warmongering choices of the governments that protect
it, because the Church has resisted the market for 2000 years, with
their support. The woman who has an abortion is a murderer, the doctor
who does his job is a hitman. Blame, condemnation, stigma. Perhaps,
given his much-vaunted love for peace, he should notice who the real
"hitmen" are: the heads of government, the defense ministers, who cut
social spending to arm the army for war, or to send weapons to other
armies, the generals who decide on a bombing or an invasion or the
targets of missiles and assassin drones, who persecute and repress those
who refuse to obey and desert. The list of hitmen, the real ones, the
ones Bergoglio doesn't hesitate to shake hands with, is long.

To those who, even from the "left", maintain papal sympathies, we remind
that if government funding for anti-abortionists in counseling centers,
anti-abortion policies, and the fight against the phantom gender
ideology are multiplying, it is because behind them there is the
blessing hand of the Vatican and the Pope in office.
