While we celebrate victories like Mori’s, we can’t ignore a heartbreaking crisis unfolding in Tanzania. The donkey skin trade is wreaking havoc on these gentle, hardworking animals.
Driven by demand for traditional medicines, this trade has stolen the lives of thousands of donkeys, leaving rural communities struggling to cope. These animals, so vital to families’ livelihoods, are being cruelly stolen, overworked, and slaughtered.
But there is hope. Together, we can stop this. |

Every donation makes a real, tangible difference: $15 provides vaccinations for one animal, protecting it from deadly diseases. $50 funds life-saving treatment for an injured donkey. $100 equips a donkey with a proper harness, easing its daily burden. $250 helps us rescue donkeys from the brink of death, offering them safety and care. $500 supports a mobile clinic for a day, reaching dozens of animals in remote areas. $1,000 ensures a rescued donkey receives food, shelter, and medical attention for an entire month.
