Dear friends,
A fiery inferno is engulfing Los Angeles, California, spreading chaos and death in its wake. Fueled by screaming Santa Ana winds reaching 100mph (160kph), wildfires are ripping through communities, razing over 35,000 acres and leaving behind a trail of ash, devastation and death. |

Animals are trapped in this living nightmare – terrified, burned and gasping for air as the fire consumes everything in its path. |
|
The animals have no way to escape the blaze. |
|
Dogs are running on charred, shredded paws, their cries lost in the roar of flames. Horses stand paralyzed with fear, unable to escape as the fire closes in. Tiny kittens and fragile wildlife are buried in smoke and ashes, desperately seeking refuge where there is none. It is almost impossible to describe the horror of what these animals are enduring right now. This isn’t just another wildfire. This is a battle for survival, and we need your help right away to save as many lives as possible. |

Your donation today can make a life-saving difference: - $25 (£30) will provide food and water to animals displaced by the flames.
- $50 (£40) will help rescue and treat a dog or cat suffering from smoke inhalation and burns.
These animals are counting on us to save them.

Every second is a matter of life or death. |
|
Imagine the fear of a smoke-choked kitten, her fur burned away, or the pain and terror of a dog cowering in the fiery ruins of what was once his home, covered in burns and barely clinging to life. Imagine what your donation could mean to them. |
|
Brave animal-lovers are fighting to save as many lives as possible, but with so many animals in need, they desperately need resources to fuel the rescue efforts. |
|
At the time of writing, Pasadena Humane has provided life-saving emergency care for over 300 animals in just 24 hours, and are expecting many more in the days to come. As the fires spread, more and more animals are coming in with burns and injuries, blinded by smoke and charred by the flames. |

One of their rescues, Roxy, was found in the burnt-out husk of a house that had crumbled in the fires. This poor little dog’s face and body were covered in severe burns, the flames leaving her with ulcers in her eyes and extremely inflamed gums. Luckily, she was found just in time and was raced to Pasadena Humane's ICU, where she is receiving burn care, pain meds, antibiotics and oxygen treatment.
There are hundreds of animals just like Roxy waiting to be saved, and Pasadena Humane needs funds to cover the extensive care these rescues so desperately need. With your help, we want to support them as they save animal lives, even as the city burns around them.
Donate generously as soon as you can to save the lives of animals who are clinging to hope amid unimaginable chaos.
Thank you for being a true hero for animals in their darkest moments. |

P.S. When wildfires broke out in northern California in the past, we were there, rushing animals to safety and saving countless lives with our supporters’ help. Please help us make the same life-saving difference for the animal victims of this catastrophic fire by donating as generously as you can today. |
