Anger when we are told about a budget deficit when a third of Bernard
Arnault's fortune would be enough to cover it. ---- Anger when Barnierwants to cut the public services budget, while students in
Seine-Saint-Denis are teaching without heating in the middle of winter.
---- Anger when, after the government's censorship, Macron tells us on
TV that we have misunderstood him again. ---- Anger when an article in
Le Monde tells us that this same Macron shamelessly talks about
"Mamadous", "rabzouz" and "little faggots" in the salons of the Élysée.
---- Anger when thousands of workers are threatened with losing their
jobs while the shareholders of their companies gorge themselves on
dividends.
Anger when the only reaction of institutions after the liberation of
Syria is to attack the right of asylum of Syrian refugees.
Anger when Bayrou prefers to go for a walk in Pau in a Falcon than worry
about the state of devastated Mayotte. Anger when Retailleau talks about
immigration while the Mahorais and Comorians count their dead. Anger
when Macron comes to explain to them that they could still be happy to
be French.
Anger when a genocide has continued in Gaza for over a year with the
tacit support of Western governments.
We don't always need grand theories to understand the criticism of the
State and capitalism: there are days when the rage they inspire in us is
enough to make us feel in our flesh the urgency to reduce them to ashes.
